I am just wondering since Dark Shadows is apparently replacing Angel, who is going to watch? The WB assumes that all Angel/Buffy fans will watch any vampire show so lets see how accurate they are.... :: vampire
 
i do not plan on watching, it looks kinda stupid to me too, and i don't watch angel just because he is a vampire anyways, so the WB has lost a viewer as of may.
 
Haven't heard of this show....does it sound that stupid? I'm still overly depressed about Tru Calling...I heard that it is gonna be gone after this season
 
If the previews look good and it gets good reviews, I will watch it.
 
I'll watch the first ep of it to see how it is, but if it sucks, I won't watch it. I won't quit WB though. I have to watch One tree Hill and the Buffy/Angel reruns. There will always be reruns.
 
I'm boycotting the WB I guess, haha.... well after Angel is gone, what is their left to watch? Certainly not Dark Shadows... I agree with previous posts that I don't just watch Angel because it's about vampires. I watch because David and James are in it. No, jk... ahh... silly WB...
 
Kelly Hu Cast in The WB's Dark Shadows

The WB has added X2: X-Men United star Kelly Hu to the network's Dark Shadows pilot. Hu will play Dr. Julia Hoffman, a physician who soon discovers that Barnabas Collins is a vampire.

The remake of the classic '60s Goth soap also stars Martin Donovan, Matt Czuchry, Alexander Gould, Blair Brown, Marley Shelton, Ivana Milicevic, Alec Newman and Jessica Chastain.

The original series aired on ABC from 1966-71 and focused on the wealthy and mysterious Collins family of Collinsport, Maine. It spawned two feature films.

Hu's other credits include The Scorpion King, as well as TV series Martial Law and Nash Bridges.
 
I will watch because I think everything deserves one chance.

I hate The WB for cancelling Angel, but blaming it on another show is not right. For example, I LOVE Everwood, and won't stop watching just because The WB canceled Angel.

Dark Shadows has an interesting premise, it is a "vampire-goth-soap opera" type show, and I love anything sci-fi, so I will give it a chance.
 
I wont watch it as it probably wont come to the UK. And as people have said, I dont watch Angel because it has vampires.
 
I loved the last Dark Shadows, but the casting just seems so bad with this one that I'm not sure I'll be able to watch it. I am prepared to be disappointed with it 🙁
 
I don't even know what the show is about. Someone posted it's a vampire sopa opera? That seems kinda stupid...that's like Port Charles, which surprise surprise, went off the air.

Oh,Ryan Starr!!!...sorry for that....ern,yeah it is a soap opera about vampires...IMO it's very stupid too...
 
Cool..For now most people here won't watch it..Even if I added 3 other answers together(1+4+1=6) and 11 members won't watch it for sure🙂 Me happy
 
I was the same way when I found out Roswell got cancelled, I was saying "I won't watch Smallville now because it replaced it, hah screw Superman!"

Boy was I wrong, I tuned in and I loved Smallville and still do (though as of late, I have missed a lot of this season).
