apparently- source: my politics teacher (he stayed up all night watching CNN- bless!) Kerry polled 43% of the over 65's i.e. the Vietnam veterans... he has strong military links

and opinion polls in New Hampshire have Dean and Clark leading with 20% ish each...

I know too many stastics...

yes the very same. He ran in the last election, he ran as I believe under the Green Party banner, yes they are a third party.
I was to young to vote for Perot but I know my father and most everyone he knows and as a matter of fact most everybody was big on Perot than he quite which really pissed my dad off he claims that the bigger parties scared him off or something cause they thought he would win who knows, I just found his tv spots really funny, with the desk and the pointer and the boards and the graphs and his ears and his accent it was really interesting. From what I understand he still has lots of money but vowed never to retunr to politics. Based upon the parties and the candidates I wish I was 45 so I could run, I know at least 10 people who would vote for me 🙂 of course it woud be better if I could get 10 electorate college votes than it would President dr. Morgus, hmm that has quite an interesting ring to it.
 
Wow, even tho I'm not american, I find this thread interesting, & I'm glad to see that for most of u, Bush isn't favorite.
Just that overseas, for most country, Bush, is... well, not really appreciate. Nothing against US tho, but I think most of ppl wished he wouldn't be president again.
 
The thought of Bush serving another term makes me sick. I can't imagine what future damage he could do to our country. Personally, I'm glad that it's looking like Dean politically peaked too early. There's something I just don't like about him. In the words of some congressman I can't remember, Dean looked like "a prairie dog on speed" at the Iowa caucus. I think that John Kerry and Wesley Clark would both make fine candidates. Right now, I really support Kerry, and I hope that he will finally make some headway. Frankly, I don't think Kucinich would stand a chance against Bush. Simply put, he's just too awkward looking.

Sadly, I won't be able to vote in the election. I'll turn 18 several weeks after the election.

It's nice to be able to talk to sensible people about politics, because where I live, Alpharetta, Georgia, is highly Republican. I just don't know what's wrong with them. 😉
 
I think Kerry and Clark are the stronger choices too...

some survey said Edwards was the most good looking- outta the bunch- I think I agree
 
I agree....I live in a small town in Texas split into two main categories - cowboys and wealthy people. This town is completely Republican and completely ignorant. They don't like people talking bad about Bush, or anything new and different coming into town. The people I know that are quite liberal tend to not be interested in politics, but more interested in the typical teenage drama. Blah.
 
I am not going to sit here and defend the current president but what bothers me is how Bush is made out ot be a villian yet we sat through 8 miserable years with one of the worst presidents in US history none other than Clinton. He did more to damage and humiliate this country than Bush could ever imagine doing. I liked neither president, since Reagan we have had 4 years of the Bush (who was miserable, he made Carter look competant), 8 years of Clinton and thus far 4 years of Bush. This election is certainly not looking good right now. But its early yet and I dont like to try and guess who the Democrats will be their nominee.
 
If I may ask, what was wrong with Clinton?

Forgive me for knowing this, but apart from their names, I know near to nothing of the previous presidents. I know Reagan was an actor, Kennedy got shot, Bush Sr doesn't like Saddam and Clinton smokes cigares!

I beg to differ. Clinton did more for the country than the first Bush. Sure, he wasn't a fabulous president, but Bush damaged the country more, and George W. Bush appears to be following in his footsteps.
 
Is anyone in New Hampshire gonna vote in the primary on Tuesday?
