Who would Angel choose?

Yes! Buffy would have just either try to get revenge or bitch for a few days.

Yes, which is why I kind of wonder what the question is. I mean, if it's between which is his true love, it'd be Buffy, hands down. When it comes to needing help, it depends upon the circumstances. Blah. I don't know.
 
I agree with Wolf that it depends on the situation. I think in that situation it was obvious he chose Faith because Faith was the one needing help, not Buffy. But say, for instance, that both Faith and Buffy were dangling from a cliff and he only had time to save one of them, he would choose Buffy. Yes I know, strange example but you get my point.

I think the question being asked is far to circumstantial and there is no straight forward answer.
 
I agree with Prydain17, regarding Buffy not getting what Angel is about, However who Angel would choose, i guess it wouldn't be Buffy, or Faith possibly Cordy but if she was alive, that is.
 
Angel loved Buffy alot more than he loved Cordy. See episode, I Will Remember You, for reasurance. He might pick Cordy, but it would depend on the situation. Now.. if it came down to both of them dangaling from a cliff and he only had time to save one, I think once again he would choose Buffy.

I agree. While I think that he did have feelings for people other than Buffy....I think it'll always be Buffy for him....nothing will change that. Even though they both know they can't be together.

At the time of the episode, and with the circumstances as they were presented, Angel obviously chose Faith (who needed and was under his protection) over Buffy (who he saw as a threat to her). That is not to say that he would make that same choise under different circumstances. Obviously Buffy is at that time the single object of his affection, so there is no real contest.

The choise between Buffy and Cordelia in one of the later seasons, however, when Angel began to have feelings for her might be a bit harder to predict.
 
If I was Angel, I'd choose Faith because I simply like Fangel. In reality I think Angel would choose Buffy as a girlfriend and Faith as a friend because that's all he ever had with her.
 
Buffy for sure. He cared for Cordy absolutely but not like Buffy. And I dunno if he would even date Faith at all. I think they will always have a connection because they have both been to the dark side, but that's about it.
 
Allow me to ramble a bit:

Maybe it was because I watched both shows on DVD or because I really didn't like Angel that much until he got his own show, but Angel/Buffy never really resonated with me. Especially on ATS. So I always saw their relationship as strictly a teenage first love: Important, and your partner will always hold a certain part of your heart, but ultimately something you move on from and form much deeper connections. This was especially so for Angel, whose relationship with Buffy marked his very first real, caring relationship of any kind. To me, ATS was all about Angel maturing and developing a life outside of and beyond his relationship with Buffy.

Now, if the original context of the question was 'who would angel choose' in a romantic sense, then I would go with Buffy hands down. I don't think Angel is in love with Faith (though I think he could be, given the right situation). However, if it was meant in a broader sense, i.e. who would angel choose if given an ultimatum between the two, then Faith, Darla (some of the time), Wesley, Cordelia (I'd say as early as Expecting), and, especially, Connor would all be chosen over Buffy, in my opinion.

Actully , no matter what he did to (Buffy) like slaping her , he could never choose someone eles , over (Buffy) He's 100% in love & adore with her , he'd never take that chance , everyone know's that , hello , he would die a million death's befor he let that happen (lol) yeah , I know he can't die , you know what I mean .
