PyleanPrincess made the thread who would Angel save?<Darla,Cordy or Buffy>,..and Buffy is winning,so looks like she is the most important girl for Angel,..but how about connor?,he is Angel's only son and he loves him,..so,who would Angel save:the love of his life or his son?
 
That's a really hard one.

He loves them both so much, but in different ways. Connor is his flesh and blood and Buffy is his soulmate and true love. It would be really difficult to sacrifice either of them.

I'll go for secret option number 3, he finds a way to save them both at the last minute in true superhero style!
 
If I really,really had to choose..All in all I think he'd choose Connor.He said many times he'd do everything for his son, besides Buffy has better chances of saving herself than Connor...
 
Imagine Buffy is like Helpless-Buffy...without slayer-strengh


And Connor can save himself too,the guy is pretty strong
 
I think that Angel might have big big problems with choosing..In the end I think blood ties would make his decision easier...
 
I think Angel would try to save them both somehow, but if he couldn't then I'd hope he'd save Buffy. Mostly because I don't like Connor at all, but in the long run it would be a bigger tragety to loose Buffy seeing how Connor hates Angel.
 
Wow, I don't know. This would be a really tough choice. Buffy sacrificed Angel in Becoming II, yet she saved Dawn in The Gift. I'm thinking Angel would probably go with Connor. It's his kid afterall. Just like Dawn was Buffy's sister.

I really don't know though. I do know, however, that he'd do everything within his power to try and save them both. I don't think I'd be able to make that choice myself. True love or family? It's like Sophie's Choice.
 
We had a question like this in health class. Instead it was "if you could save your wife, or your child, who would it be?" And I answered that you waited your whole life to meet your soulmate, and you could always make another baby. So, I'd save my soul mate. Is that like... evil?
 
Nope...Deep inside I hoe Angel thinks the same..Besides maybe next time his child won't be that ugly...
 
I am SO totally disagreeing with you guys.

For Parker-You could make another baby, but you couldn't make THAT baby-your response is spoken like a true child-less person 😉 You'll see-I see it from my nephew-there is nothing like the bond between a parent and their child.

Twenty bucks says everyone who has a child answers this question with Connor. I'm gonna say Connor too. ESPECIALLY because Angel CAN'T make another baby-this is his one and only shot and parenthood.
 
That is a really difficult question. In the end I think he'd save Connor...but I'm not sure.

This reminds me of an episode of Charmed, when the sister's at the beginning are asked who would they save.....each other or 5 strangers...at the beginning they said each other, but when they where put in that situation they chose to save the strangers.

It would depend who his instincts told him to save and in this case I think it might be his son.
 
I have to say Connor, blood is thicker then wine. And even though Angel may love Buffy when it comes to Connor, that is his first priority.
 
I say Connor. He joined up with Wolfram & Hart, the thing he despises most on the planet to give him a better life. These are the people who, for four years, devoted their every waking moment to either tyring to kill, recruit or drive Angel insane. I think that shows how much Connor means to Angel.
 
I'm with Parker,I think he would save Buffy,...I know Connor is his son and all,but I just think he would save the woman he loves.
