Confused about the upcoming election? Don't know who to vote for? You're in luck. Our favorite Slayer comes to the rescue again. Check this out:

Election ࢀ™08: What Would Buffy Do?

(I hope that the web site works. If not, just try "what would Buffy Do?" and go down the list. It's worth the effort)

(Yeah, it works. I just checked)

::eyes:: I'm probably going to have the unpopular opinion here...but I did NOT find that amusing at all. Kudos for the Buffy find though 🙂

Makes me want to do one with the democratic canidates 😛

Be careful tossing that "old people" stuff around there, junior.
"If Buffy’s not your pop-culture point of reference, you should 1) rethink your pop-culture frame of reference, and 2) enjoy the more accessible slate of Star Wars candidate analogies posted on Craigslist."

AHAHA.

Yeah i enjoyed the star wars one more, great find!

"Obama isn't remotely like Vader, and besides, as we learned in Episode VI, Vader was a cracker!"

LOL

I didn't find it really amusing, either. In my opinion, if you're going to do political satire, you need to pick on EVERYONE. This person only picked on one side of the spectrum. Personally, I would have cast Obama as the Mayor--charismatic, personable, but wants to be a big snake and eat everybody.

Actually, if you notice, 'The Tonight Show," "Saturday Night Live," and the like tend to pick one side or the other almost exclusively as their target, and Hollywood has been satirizing political conservatives in general and Republicans in particular for years.

If the great political commentator, Will Rogers, who took pride in saying, "Everything I know, I read in the newspapers," was alive today, he would have a very biased slant on just about everything from world policy to animal rights.

^ Hence why I tend not to find those people funny. Whereas the JibJab "Time for Some Campaignin'" thing was just freaking hilarious.
