Who would you have liked to see be turned into a vamp?

What the titles says! Which character would you have liked either turned into a vampire, or act as their vampire self (a la "the Wish"). Also, how do you think those characters would be as a vamp. I just kind of got myself thinking of that topic because aside from Jesse in the opener, we never saw a main cast be turned into a vampire. We've had lots of death, but it would have been cool to see them make a mistake and one of them actually be turned. My picks would be:

Riley-simply because I don't like his character and I would have loved to see his personally as a vamp, then finish it off with Buffy staking him.

Tara-would have been pretty fun to see her play the sexy and outrageous vampire I think, but of course I wouldn't want her to be permanently a vamp, so this one I'd say I'd simply like to see it for one ep like the Wish.

Joyce-I think that would have been pretty cool to see, especially mentally for Buffy.

Gunn-I know they did it in After the Fall (which I haven't finished), but overall I really liked it. I think he'd make a perfect vampire!
 
I agree with Tara. It would have been fun to see a Wishverse Vamp version of her, but I wouldn't want her stuck like that. 🙂

Riley would have been an obvious choice, both because of his weakness for Vampire prostitutes (Angelus could set up a trap for him somehow, part of some convoluted master plan) and because with his military training and access to all sorts of chemical warfare materials and conventional weaponry, he would be absolutely diabolical at the head of a vampire army.

(Joss, there's another one you're welcome to run with for Season10, no charge)

Tara would make a bad ass vampire, with her knowledge of magic, but I like her too much just the way that she is to mess up her character that way.
 
I agree Gunn made an excellent vampire and I would have loved to have seen J. August Richards play him in the show. But there's a couple other characters I'd rather see:

Wesley - In the later seasons at least he would have made one scary vamp. He's smart and he's got pent up issues and he's shown even as a human to be cold sometimes. I imagine he would be like Angelus in some ways. He would see art in the kill. He wouldn't want to be senseless in his violence. He would go for what hurts the most.

Giles - Again, scary 'cause he's so smart and that would transfer over into the vampire side of things. If you've read The Lost Slayer books then you know what I mean.

Tara - Specifically I want to see vamp!Tara with vamp!Willow in the alternate world! But even on her own I think it would be interesting, the shift in personality. How would Tara's sweetness and loyalty to her Scooby family transfer over? Would she vamp Willow and Dawn to keep them with her? Or would she just kill? Plus, she's got magic.
 
Faith. I think it would be a vampire frighteningly strong and wicked. Can you imagine Faith vampire beside Angelus? Darla, in comparison, would have appeared as a convent girl.

In "Release" was going to happen just that.

I'm the kind of person who needs my heroes to be heroes. I have a hard time accepting it when my heroes go evil or do something that's decidedly un-hero-like. In fact, I hate it.

I don't like dealing with that, so I'd like everyone just to stay the species they are, thanks.

That's not Lindsey - that's Christian Kane. What I mean is, it's not a promo image of Lindsey, it's a personal shot of Christian (with Jensen Ackles, incidentally) that I asked Buffy Summers to add to the gallery for me many, many years ago.

There are characters that I like that started out evil and stayed that way - Lindsey included - but like I said, I want and need my HEROES to stay that way. I don't want the good guys to become the bad guys. Lindsey was always on the wrong side of the line.

Haha ok ok, my bad 😛 And I agree, I hate when the heroes go bad, I mean I can deal with the temporary change of allegiances from time to time but for the most part I hate it too.
 
I would like to see vamp Cordelia. The high school b!tch would turn perfectly evil. And her friend Harmony would still look up to her.

From Angel, I would like to see vamp Lilah Morgan. Her contract with Wolfram & Hart continues after death, so she could be a W & H hit woman.

I feel like Lilah would be pretty similar as a vamp as she was as a human.
Connor being turned would be interesting, after everything Holtz taught him about vampires, especially if Angelus had been the one to turn him
 
would be fun to see Xander and Gunn as Vamps since they hate vampires so much. id like the irony there.
 
Wesley and Lilah; I think they would be an amazing vampire couple, probably similar to Angelus and Darla 😀
