I'd also like to see Tara come back but PLEASE NO RESSURECTION I would enjoy it more if she would come back as an angel or something like that. i don't want to see her as a humain simply because I think Tara deserves more than that.

I'd looove to see Anya again, but as Blaze said about Tara "please no resurection" but you know maybe a dillusion or even a flashback would make me so happy
 
I'm missing Anya and Tara a lot, having to vote between the two was tough, I just don't feel Tara's story is over as much as I do Anya's. I love thephoenixs idea. Absolutely brilliant! And I also agree with what a lot of people have said "no resurrections!" I think it would be beautiful to see her come back as a goddess or angel of some description. There could be a nice back story linking into Willows goddess-ness in Chosen. Oh, if only.

One more thing that I may as well have a rant about while I'm talking about the comics (which I don't do very often), is MORE GILES! He was such an important part of the show to me and I can't believe I never got a reason behind the lack of communication between him and the scoobs. It was one of the main reasons I stopped buying and reading the comics.
 
Who Would You like to see in season 8

With the exception of the ones seen, ALL new characters.

I haven't read the comics but the idea that the comics will bring them back annoys me.

The deaths of the characters in the show should be left as is rather than what seems to me like a gimmick.

I don't mind characters like Dru being used because because they just stopped being in the shows though.

I want to see Giles eating jaffa cakes and drinking tea while wearing a sombrero nah to much of a long shot.

I was gonna say Harmony but ive seen the covers The Master would be interesting just even as a Flash back .
 
Tara. She's sorely missed.
But does anyone else feel that the writers (and most probably Joss) are not interested in bringing her back to the 'verse?
 
Of those on your list, Tara, but bringing Drusilla back would aslo be good, especially if doing so would lead to bringing back Spike as well. It could be a trick of Twilight's. Bring back a FALSE Spike with Dru in tow just to throw Buffy's world into turmoil (Spike gone evil and soul-less again) which could lead into bringing the REAL Spike back just to help straighten the whole mess out.

I'm new here so my first post other than my introduction. I read somewhere that Oz is on his way back in one of the up-coming issues. Should be cool except hands off or Ken-doll may kill him like a chicken.

My fav to come back without a doubt is Clem.
Others have to be - Harmony, More Dracula (that arc was too cool) more Faith, Robin Wood.

But wouldn't "Buffy meets a false Spike" be a bit meh after Spike met (or, at least, saw from 5 meters distance) a false Buffy in GIQ? I hope they're not going down been there, done that lane enough to do so. 😉

Had it not been for that ep (which was fun, but a bit pointless after we learned in hindsight that nope, it wasn't Buffy at all - even more pointless if you, like me, were spoilered of the S8 canon change before watching it ^^ ), the scenario you have in mind would be cool, though.
