Out of all the characters from Buffy and Ats, including minor characters... If the shows were real, who wouldn't have made it? (a little reality check!)

I'm going to go with Xander. But I have no real evidence to back that up and I recognize that's probably just my Xander hate coming to the surface... I just have this gut feeling he would fail. hard.

I love you so hard right now.
As much as I love Xander and Dawn, anyone with no magical powers or inhuman strength to protect them would have made it in Sunnydale. 🙁

Everyone. Let's face it, all the vampires need to do is buy a gun and Buffy is a goner.
Darla couldnt kill her with a gun.. granted, it's because she trusted Angel. I think it was realized then and there how a gun is a no-no as they were never really brought out again. There were numerous logical ways to kill the slayer and then never did any of them.

To be fair, it could have been worse. Like in Charmed where every run of the mill demon could teleport into the house of the Charmed Ones, yet none of the bad guys ever tried to simply kill them in their sleep. 😉

You mean apart from the time when Warren killed Tara and almost killed Buffy? Or when Wesley was packing heat for like two seasons?

yeah, that was the only time guns were really used. Other than the time with Darla that I can remember. I mean even the Initiative used fauxguns seeing only one episode with 'real' ones.

Or when Wesley was packing heat for like two seasons?
That was on Angel; it was a different series and different rules. Because Angel could be shot, Buffy couldnt be.

I was going to say Xander purely because he's weak and intolerable, and sheesh... if I was in Sunnydale, I would come close to smothering him while he slept, but he was also the first person to hide or run at the sign of trouble so in a way he was actually quite a good survivor. Buffy said to Willow and Xander in NKABOTFD that she was friends with them because they knew the score - knew when it was time to let Buffy do her job, and when to run, so it makes sense that they survived.

To be honest, thinking through I don't find it completely unbelievable that any of the characters survived for the amount of time that they did. I guess maybe in real life Anya and Tara would have bitten the dust sooner. Maybe even Riley as well. He could be an arrogant fighter.

EDIT: Did I just give Xander a backhanded compliment? Holy crap, what is the world coming to?!

Part of me feels Xander would have died before he learned to hide... in The Harvest.
Jonathan, Xander. Cordelia, Warren, Dawn, Amanda...um that's all I can think of for now.

Oh and if there were a 'Big Bad Bunny', Anya would have been gone way long ago.

Personally, I've never understood how Dawn managed to survive very long past her very first, "Get out! Get OUT! GET OUT!!!" temper tantrum without somebody putting her out of everyone else's misery. Her only purpose on the entire show was to get Buffy killed, so after that was accomplished, she was just dead weight anyhow. At the very least, they could have killed off her and let Spike AND Anya survive, since she was a bigger pain in the a** than both of them, on their worst days, combined.

Do you mean death or real life like a job and a future?

From the answers, I assume death. If the show was real, then, um, none of them. Especially Buffy. The way she saves herself every day is so unrealistic. And Spike would have been dusted in S4. Actually, all the town would have been dead, Slayer or not. There are so many vampires and one Slayer. Of course, everyone will be dead.

I think Xander tends to do the opposite of hiding. He always foolishly throws himself in danger to save his friends, so I'm guessing he'd been dead sooner than anyone else. Because of his foolish bravery and loyalty.
