What are moments in either BTVS or Angel that you literally said WHOA outloud?

The reason I raise this question is because i just saw s4 episode of angel Awakening, and the very end just hit me by utter surprise. It was all just an illusion, what a cool idea. I went all Keanu Reeves in the Matrix - - - Whoa!

What about yall?

When Giles walks into the Magic Box at the end of "Two to Go" . . . "I'd like to test that theory." Although mine was less of a "whoa" and more of a "YES! OH, MY GOD! GO GILES! WOOOHOOOOO!"

Giles <3 :D
Last night i watched Origin for the first time in Ages, and in the intro bit when Angels walking along in the WR&H main hall, he hears what sound like Connor saying 'hey dad' and he turns and Connor is there. And Connors not supposed to know Angels his dad. My face was like Angels when i heard Connor saying that, i think i actually did say the word Whoa, with my eyes wide and my jaw on the floor.

Two from Angel. Drusilla appearing at the end of " The Trial " and turning Darla. And Darla dusting herself at the end of " Lullaby".

TIME BOMB. Illyria dusts Spike! I was screaming no no no no no no. Until she started killing every one i seriously thought they just killed of my best character off. Also had similar reaction to Spikes hands being chopped in Damage.

So true. I actually WHOA one by one when they got killed. And Spike's arms, OMG, I just closed my eyes.
Giles in Two to go, and Spike getting his soul back.

I didn't expect to see Giles again, and not like that.
And the soul thing. It was just building up to something else. Spike getting the chip removed or something, and then Joss just had to grin and go all "HAHA made ya think" on us

OMG YES. when spike got his soul back i couldn't believe my eyeballs.
It was more of a "ohnononono" than a "WOAH" but at the end of Angel Season 3 (I forget what the ep's called - the last one) where Connor's putting him in the box. I felt sure that someone would come and save him but no. & then he never got to meet up with Cordy 🙁

The same with "A Hole in the World" when they make the decision not to save Fred.

The end of Hush. It was so well done without any dialogue.

The end of Two to Go when Giles comes in.

When they make Willow a Goddess in Chosen.

Only three moments come to mind:

Giles at the end of Two to Go, Spike getting his soul back and Anya's death.

I wasn't expecting Giles to reappear at the end there, and neither was I expecting Spike to get his soul returned.

Anya - I had been spoiled on her death, so I knew it was coming, but the manner of it, that it was so sudden and harsh made me go 'woah'.

I forgot to add, when The First turned to Dru,The Mayor,Glory,Adam,The Master and end with Buffy. I was like, WTF are you!?

Tara getting shot by Warren..definately one of those moments...
When Giles comes back in Two to Go..
and err...Oh Anya being killed S7..

That's all i can think of right now but i know there's more 😛

All the other ones mentioned...I actually loved that moment in Chosen with Willow going "Oh.....My.....God...."

The first time they did the alternate reality in Normal Again.

And when Illyria emerged in Fred's body.

Illyrias first appearance was a shocker
When Glory kicks Buffybot's head off. I was like *silent* for a while and the Whoa! came afterward. 😀

When Connor had sex with Cordelia. It's not actually Whoa, but I don't know why I didn't said Eww to suit what I felt. I just Whoa and turned my face away.

with glory kicking buffybots skull off. Funny shtuff
The Spike and his soul part was deffinetly one of those moments. It never actually crossed my mind at the time that that was what he was trying to do.
Also, when Illyria appeared was half a whoa moment and half a still crying because of Fred moment.
Oh, and when Wesley gets shot in Angel. Not the good whoa of course. But I really wasn't exspecting that one.

Tara getting shot: Of course it was more of..."Oh god!" *bursts into tears*.

Willow flaying Warren: That was a big whoa moment.

and the last one I can think of is Buffy killing Angel in Becoming Pt. II

Anya's death was so sudden, quick and violent that it made me whoa.

Fred's death was another whoa moment for me.

I hate that Joss Whedon, killing off my favorite characters. 🙁
