Whoa Moments - Possible Spoilers

There are so so many, most of the ones you guys have already mentioned definitely made me go whoa as well. A few big ones for me from Angel that haven't been mentioned: Lorne killing Lindsey (GRRRRR!) the reveal of newly resurrected Darla all feral looking in the box, when we first see Darla's pregnant belly and then later when she stakes herself ( 🙁 ), and when Cordy pulls out the knife and stabs Lilah.

Oh yeah, the pregnant belly was awesome!
I read a lot of spoilers before hand, but they did give woha-moments. Like;

*Spike loves Buffy.

*Buffy & Spike has sex.

*Spike gets a soul.

I think I had only watched the first part of season 4 when I read these spoilers, so you can imagine how suprised I was.

The reason I raise this question is because i just saw s4 episode of angel Awakening, and the very end just hit me by utter surprise. It was all just an illusion, what a cool idea. I went all Keanu Reeves in the Matrix - - - Whoa!

Well, there were quite a few. A couple off the top of my head are:

- The dream sequence in Out Of My Mind. I mean, at that point, there was absolutely no part of my mind that believed that there was ever going to be a future between Spike and Buffy. She hated him. Plain and simple. When that scene came on, I did a couple take, "WHAT?!". I think I fell off the bed. Then, when it turned out it was all a dream, it made more sense. Same with Smashed. I never, ever saw that coming. Not at all. She's punching him and them, BAM she's kissing him. I think my mouth actually fell open. But once I got over the initial shock, I think I had a huge smile plastered on my face for like an hour. I was like, "Oh yeah, this is when it gets good, Buffy and Spike style!" 😉

- Of course, in Innocence, when Angel turns into Angelus. I remember being really confused. I wondered why he had become such an asshole all the sudden. Then when it came out that he'd losen his soul, I was like, Oh My GOD what an ingenious plot twist! Despite how awfully sad I felt for Buffy, I still thought it was an excellent storyline and an interesting challenge for her to get through. A real, human, emotional challenge that had nothing to do with her Slayer duties.

- When Gunn snapped the neck of the Professor who sent Fred to Pylea. I was pretty shocked and dismayed at that. I was a big Frunn supporter.

- The end of Not Fade Away. I was like, WHAT! IT ENDS LIKE THAT!? Are you kidding me?!

- When Tara's shot by Warren...

- Darla's pregnancy.

- LINDSEY'S DEATH. That killed me. And having Lorne do it? Messed up, I tell you.

- Buffy jumping to save Dawn in "The Gift."

- Xander leaving Anya at the alter.

- I already knew about Spike getting brought back, so that didn't surprise me. But if I hadn't known, I would have been mighty surprised.

- And last but not least, Fred's death. Ah, Fred. Amazing, pretty, nice and sweet little Fred. That killed me. Seriously.

P.S. Oh, and Wesley's death. Man, that pissed me off.

P.P.S. Spike getting a soul. I never saw that coming at all.
 
Anya's death. It didn't make me go WOAH, as much as screaming at the top of my lungs and crying hysterically.

Angel turning into Angelus.

Darla's pregnant belly.

Spike getting a soul.

Wesley's death.

Illyria's first appearence.

Willow flaying Warren. But that was more like "WOAH! GO WILLOW! HELLZ YEAH!"
 
I watched the entire of Buffy spoiler free... Soo...

Buffy and Spike finally getting it on! My friend at school and I had been willing it on for so long, and for a 15 year old it was quite shocking! We giggled about the unzip of the fly for weeks!

Also, I have to say, any characters death. Tara, Jenny, Anya especially...

Also Spike and Anya getting it on...
 
WHOA 1 - When Buffy got owned (brutally) by the Ubervamp in "Bring On The Night". I was shocked because A) It was BUFFY. B) It was a hell of a beatdown.

WHOA 2 - Buffy's (epic) speech to the gang during the end of "Bring On The Night." When all was said, I was numbed. Watched the entire season through after seeing that.
 
Anya getting killed.

And at the end of season 5 in Buffy-The Gift. At the time I didn't know the series was "ending" until the episode finished and before the credits started there was a thank you message to the fans. I also started crying. 🙁
 
For me it had to have been the following:

Anya dying, talk about quick and brutal to watch.

Darla being pregnant.

Tara being shot.

Buffy dying in The Gift (I cried for an hour after watching it)

Finding out Riley was a commando (I had only got in to the show at that point)

Dawn being introduced (I was more puzzled but still a woah moment)
 
Tara getting shot in "Seeing Red."
Giles returning in "Two to Go."
Cordelia stabbing Lilah in Angel S4.
Cordelia waking up in "You're Welcome."
Darla dusting herself.
Fred dying.
Anya dying.
