For me Cordelia i mean c'mon right after the episode You're Welcome IMO is barely affected it's like she never existed.

Oh and Tara i wish they showed more of Dawn mourning or Buffy and her Funeral.

BTW did the scooby's ever find out about Cordy
and how come Cordy never crossed over to Buffy

I agree 100% It's like they ignore all the contributions Cordy made to the Buffyverse as well as Anya.
Anya for sure. It seemed like Xander only felt sad for a moment then he just got over it. *shrugs*
 
I said Anya. I think they did most of their mourning for Cordy when she was in her coma, but both did suffer from coming right towards (or at) the very end of the shows. I don't think Anya was mourned for properly (even though it all would have happened in the time between S7 and S8), but I did like how they finalised her death with the scene of Xander walking right past her body. I wanted tears and outpourings of love though dammit!

I also just suddenly developed a burning hatered for that Renee woman in Season 8. Weird that. First time I thought about the mourning of Anya in the interim... I suppose I hadn't made that connection yet.
 
I voted for Anya, mainly because we didnt get to see the mourning. It all happened off screen. I would have liked to have seen how Xander really reacted, when the high of winning finally wore off.

Cordy comes in a close second though, but I'm just annoyed that she was never really mentioned again. Anegl just continued off in the next episode as if nothing had happened. We don;t even know if they had a funeral, if Wesley cried...hell, if Spike cried, lol. It would have been nice to see them mourne for their 'second soldier'.

1st - Cordy: so, cordelia died but in the next episode everything seemed normal, like nothing happened! Angel said he loved cordy, yadda, yadda.. but he doesnt even cry or say something about her!!
2nd - Tara. We see how willow's in pain, we see dawn crying BUT what about buffy? xander? anya?? :S
3rd - and about anya's death i agree with what's been said.
 
Of the ones you listed, I would have to say Anya, but in truth we don't really don't know whether she or any of the others who died in the hellmouth. That is a story that most definitely needs to be told, as well as probably everything that happened between the final scene of "Chosen" and the moment we first see Buffy jumping out of the helicopter at the beginning of Season 8. Maybe not every minor detail, but a lot has obviously happened in the intervening months, but I'm sure that a lot of it would be material for some very interesting stories.
 
Hm, we no multiple choice? 🙁 Well I think both Cordy and Anya, but I voted Cordy because well, they were not too nice with that character. First she was let in a coma for unknown time, and then when she finally died no one really seemed to care.
 
I think Joyces' death was one of teh most mourned bt Anyas was deffo teh least mourned. I alwas cry when i watch the deaths on buffy now =(
 
I'm voting for Cordy. I'm going to assume that Anya was properly mourned for after the screen faded to black, but Cordy... when I stop to think about it for too long it still irks me how they let that character go out, she was SO vital, especially on Angel and it just seemed a little to me like they wrote her off to make S5 the Angel/Spike show, I mean I love Spike as much as the next drooling fangirl but come on! They didn't include her in season 5 but they gave us You're Welcome, okay but then no mention after that. Instead of a little mourning all we get is Angel pining over Buffy a few eps later and fighting Spike for her again, ugh... you are supposed to be upset that the love of your life just DIED, because yes damnit Cordelia was the love of your life not Buffy!

Lol i totally agree and apparently the 2 main reason they killed her of was
1.Charisma was pregnate and
2.they didn't know what else to do with her character.
 
Since Cordelia had been in a coma for about a year already, I think the Fang Gang had sort of mourned her already. So when she actually died, there was just no sadness left about it.

I actually think the character that was mourned the least was Kendra. Sure, she was only a recurring character, but still.

Yeah kendra, I figured they were all so caught up with everything else but it would have been nice for her to get some recognition.
At the point of Cordelia's death she had been a regular character on Buffy and Angel for 7 years and to have so much grief over Fred and not for Cordy seemed, to me, really unfair.
 
Anya... definately... She was such a great character, and I sort of always hoped her and Xander to get back together. Instead of that, she died, and never got mourned over
