If you think about it too, Angel & Cordy spent more time together getting to know each other than him and Buffy did. They were together on a daily basis right from ATS S1...in BTVS S1...Angel saw Buffy rarely....to the point where she said a relationship with Angel would be like "Hi, honey, you're in grave danger. I'll see you next month." (Angel, BTVS S1).

Nice concept of her future love...What Buffy said in S1 doesn't change anything,she fell in love with him anyway...just like Cordelia did. The thing is that Angel never loved Cordelia as much as he loved Buffy.

My fave for Angel was Buffy. And after that I had a real hard time accepting the fact that he was moving on. I couldn't adapt to him with Cordy. However I will say ( under my breath)the two did have a connection from day one. Cordy made him laugh even in the early seasons. But I just did not like Wolf-girl. I felt like I had bitter beer face for an hour after seeing those two. :fuming:

Well Buffy and Angel seemed good in the beginning, I thought they were cute together but probably wouldn't last. I don't know, don't get mad at me but I think what really got them together in the first place was the whole attraction thing. I like Cordy with Angel because of their friendship. I think that Angel having a friendship with Cordy already is a good thing. Maybe deep down inside of Angel (not necessarily in season 1 of angel) he felt a tiny something for her but pushed it away and in season three it grew. He saw her with Connor and she's always there for him, they've been through a lot together, and they really understand each other. I really like them together and I think they would have a good relationship if she were alive.

Cordy. Angel's best with Cordy. As much as it pains me to say it it's true.
She brought out the lighter side of him, he had butterflies whenever he saw her. He had a hard time talking to her. She made him laugh.🙂

Cordy. Buffy and Angel might be each others true love, but they never seem to be happy, except for maybe a little while at the time when they're together. Cordy is a good friend for Angel, and she makes him happy.

Definetly Cordelia all the way.

She made him laugh, was always there for him and understood him better than anyone else. As Champion and Seer of the Powers they had a very deep bond and their friendship became the perfect basis for a relationship.

I love these two together. C/A forever.
