Who's older, the Master or Kakistos? We know that the Master is pretty old, but when it comes to Kakistos the books say "he's so old that his hands and feet are cloven". The Master's feet and hands aren't cloven, so does that mean that Kakistos is older than tha Master? They both had similar things, like always being in vamp face and needing a much bigger stake to die. But I wanna know who's older.

I don't know for sure since I haven't heard any of the cast and crew comment on it.

I think the Master is older since he doesn't reduce to ash after he's staked... Plus, he's wrinklier, I think.

I think the Master was also one of the old ones, if I'm not mistaken.

The Master's nose was older looking, lol that sounds so dumb but true.

LoL. His nose was too old! LoL! Someone else said that he was to wrickly LoL.

The Master, whose real name was Heinrich Joseph Nest, was a supremely powerful vampire who led the Brethren of Aurelius. About six hundred years old, the Master has been referred to by Joss as "the most powerful of vampires," although other vamps such as Kakistos probably lived to an older age.

Well, that makes you think that Kakistos is older than the Master. Thanks for posting that, Magui.

I'd say the Master.
Kakistos looked like a 40 year old, whereas The Master looked like a 400 year old...

hmmm,..well,I think Kakistos looked worse and older than The Master and...well,nothing,I just think Kakistos is older...

I always thought the master was older but now thinking about it, I think its Kikistos because his hands and feet are cloven, and he needed a bigger stake to die, but the master was killed by getting staked with glass which isnt nearly as big as the stake used to kill kikistos.

I thought it was Kakistos...although it didn't seem like they had too much trouble killing him. Maybe older isn't always better for the vampires and demons.

I'd say Kakistos. I was under the impression that the Master looked like that because he was so old he couldn't resort to his human features any more. He wasn't that old that his hands and feet had started to meld together. Also, we don't know if a regular stake would or would not have killed the Master. Buffy never tried. She threw him through the window and he landed on the table, she never had a stake with her to use.
