Joyce sadly didn't get a long-lasting relationship during the show's run. If she did, who do you think would be right for her?
In case you don't remember, Brian was the man who took Joyce on a date and left her flowers in "I Was Made to Love You".
I personally just like Brian, because Joyce seemed to be having fun with him. Plus, he left her flowers!

I voted for Snyder just for kicks.

No, seriously. I would've loved to have seen a relationship between these two. Can you just imagine Buffy's response to this developement?

But my heart still belongs to Snyder/LunchLady.

SNUCHLADY!
I voted for Brian.

-chuckles at Snyder option- Where's Goby?

Giles!

Giles, of course! How could they not have been perfect after "Band Candy" and Giles' role as the effective father-figure for Buffy?

I tried to click Snyder because of my deal with Goby... but I can't. Goyce with a G forever! Giles/Joyce is seriously one of my OTPs. I wish to god it happened. It's like Lily/Barney. There's this incredible potential for this ship. And we have one episode where it's there and you get to pretend. And then no more. For Giles/Joyce, it's Band Candy. For Lily/Barney it's (appropriately titled) World's Greatest Couple.

I know more than a few people on this board who totally shoot it down. So I thought it might not be popular.
In case anyone forgot....

After Jenny died, way before "Band Candy" ever aired, I kept thinking "It would be so sweet if Giles and Joyce got together". I think they would have made a beautiful couple, and it was obvious in "The Body" that Giles still harbored some sort of feelings for her.

You made my day!!!! :-)
When I started to rewatch the show a couple of years ago, I remember thinking,
"Giles and Joyce.... yessss, this could work!"
But now?
Joyce/Me.

I just rewatched "I Was Made To Love You" with a friend. Saddening ending aside, I was happy to see Joyce being giggly and happy one last time. Thank you for that, Brian Dude! Dude can be his last name, since I don't know his real one.

Heh, you KNOW who I voted for! (Giles, in case someone else doesn't know)

But unfortunate aneurysms aside, I wish we'd seen more of Brian. She seemed awfully happy when she came home from that date. 🙂

I'm actually verrrrry slooowwwwly writing a fic that involves Brian. But will ultimately be Giles/Joyce. I can't tell you what happens with Brian without spoiling it, hee. It might someday be finished.

I voted for Brian. He seemed like a nice chap. It was nice to see Joyce happy, even if it was short lived. 🙁

Aside from that, I would say Hank. Before the writers screwed him up, turning him into a deadbeat dad and such, he seemed to be a pretty good guy. Prior to Buffy mentioning him in season five, it always seemed to me that he was an upstanding man, and he and Joyce's marriage just...Fell apart. Lack of communication, too much stress, because of a number of factors, but I don't think he was ever a bad guy, or meant to be a bad guy, until the writers figured it'd be convenient for them.

Are you referring to the scene with Giles alone listening the record? I didn't think that it was because he had romantic feelings about her, just because she they were friends. 🙂

Anyway my vote goes to Brian, I loved how he made her happy and all. Plus it would have been better for her to be with a regular guy, Giles was too involved with the slaying and Buffy and all that stuff. 🙂

I voted Giles (for obvious reasons) but I could've voted Brian. I loved that scene with the girls were she was wearing her dress and they kept telling her to turn around just for the fun of it.
