I love that line!

I voted for Wes, first season Angel Wes, exactly. His nerdiness was just hilarious to me! Angel was funny, too. Another of my favorite lines was his one about the epiphany he had....Gunn says something like, "just like that? Epiphany....bang!" and Angel was like, "it was kinda the other way around...." LMAO! Or, Angelus', "there should be a play." line. Ha!

I voted Xander because I think he made me laugh collectively more then any other character. More so in seasons 1-4 then now in season eight. There's too many times ummm.. Think season 2 was great for him, because he played his doomed crush on Buffy so good for comedy.. like oh in Surprise

Xander: Hmm, it's sad, granted. But let's look at the upside for a
moment. (gets up) I mean, what kind of a future would she've really had
with him? (Willow looks sadly up at him) She's got 2 jobs -- Denny's
waitress by day, (Giles looks up, too) Slayer by night -- and Angel's
always in front of the TV with a big blood belly, and he's dreamin' of
the glory days when Buffy still thought this whole creature of the night
routine was a big turnon.

Willow: You've thought way too much about this.

Xander: No, no. That's just the beginning. Have I told you the part
where I fly into town in my private jet and take Buffy out for prime
rib?

Willow: (sees Buffy come in) Xander...

Xander: And she cries?

But Spike, Wesley and Buffy aren't far behind.. even Willow when Joss is writing for them.
Damn after reading that I hope Xander takes Buffy out for rib in this season! 😉 Are you reading this Joss?

Oh, Spike and Anya - hands down! Altho so many had their funny moments - Willow is a close 2nd, because her "mousy" lines were almost always that of the amusing. Buffy had her quippy moments, as even did Giles. ("The earth is definitely doomed.") But Spike and Anya had me rolling almost every single episode. 😀
