Who's the greediest character?

Cordelia likes money. Anya is obsessed by it. Giles gave Buffy that check to help her pay her bills. Of course, that was after Buffy had convinced the Council to pay Giles for the work he did while he was fired. Couldn't she have asked for a stipend for herself?

Cordelia liked money, but I think character wise she grew into valuing friends over possessions towards the end, whereas Anya was just flat-out I-love-capitalism.

Willow and Giles aren't that greedy when it comes to money. Giles isn't that greedy at all.

Anya and Cordelia are very greedy over money. Anya doesn't have much of a moral compass whereas Cordelia is pretty self-righteous and would make it a point to prove how incorruptible she is (this is Ats season 2/season 3/season 5 Cordelia). However, Cordelia took shady people for clients for money, forgave Angel because he bought her clothes, ascended and got herself killed because she thought she was a higher being 🙄. Cordelia is moral but very corruptible. Also, Anya, for the right reasons would refuse money. She's more pragmatic.

Ugh... it's a coin toss but I picked Cordy. She's kind of a wild card. All that pride and pretension got the better of her in the end.

When Anya was faced with the temptation of RJ in "Him", she could have had any response to that temptation. She chose to knock over a bank.
