Go team Giles!
The only guy on either show who makes me all giggly and swoony and hot-under-the-collar is Giles. He's the only one with whom I could actually see myself pursuing a relationship (were I unwed and living in the Buffyverse). What's not to love? He's intelligent and bookish, so he'd dig my writer vibe and be able to quote Jane Austen to me. Lest you think he's only the professor to my schoolgirl act, he can also throw a mean axe and wield a stake with ease. But wait! There's more! He can play and sing -- and he has good taste in music, which is always nice when you're dating a musician. From what little we know of his sex life (sex on a police car -- twice), I'm guessing he'd be a blast in bed (or on some other surface). Best of all, he's big-picture guy who isn't afraid to make the difficult decisions or sacrifices, so I could respect and accept his more mature worldview. And did I mention the accent is hot? Good god, I've got one mad crush on this man!
I kind of have a thing for the brits. Spike made me feel hot-under-the-collar more often than not. And I always thought Wes was attractive. I wouldn't have minded being Lilah. But let's not forget the American boys. Gunn was all kinds of exciting, especially when he got dressed up. Teenage Xander was hot in an adorable geeky way... or, umm, would have been, when I was a teenager. And Robin Wood? He's got to be the most attractive principal ever! Oh - and Lindsey was cute, too, especially when he played the guitar. Basically, they're all attractive in their own ways (except Angel, who never really did it for me after season 1), but Giles wins hands down, for me.

I'm straight, so I guess I'm not much of a judge on the chicks, but I must admit to thinking Dru was pretty darn hot. Insane, yeah, but there was something hypnotic about the way she moved and thought and acted. Fred was very feminine and brainy. Definitely had the hot schoolgirl thing going on, for which Lilah made fun of her to Wesley. hehe. Speaking of Lilah, she was very pretty - but it was her attitude that made made her hot. And speaking of attitude, who can forget Faith, who just exuded confidence out the wahzoo? I wouldn't have minded looking or acting like any of these ladies. And if they ever wanted to tempt me to other side, something that I never once tried even though I went to a women's college, I might have to say yes (if I wasn't married).
