This pretty much sums up my feelings for B/A as well:
Their love is pure and true
No other couple has ever had to endure so much hardship and faced so much hurt and pain for the sake of their love. Buffy and Angel not only survived all that, their love for each other endured and persevered through all that and came out stronger. Their love has been through Hell literally and made it snow in Sunnydale. Their love has seen them through prophecies and apocalypses. Their love makes them strong.
Angel fought against his own kind by her side, staked his sire and risked his life countless times to save her, he went to hell and back (literally) for her and he loved her so much that he was willing to give her up for the sake of her happiness. But as the ultimate sacrifice, he gave up a chance at humanity for her.
Buffy loves Angel unconditionally. Even after knowing who and what he is and his terrible past, she still loved him. They were enemies by nature - a Slayer and a vampire, but still she loved him and trusted him.

Amazingly that is what Buffy did. She looked past the face of the vampire, right into a human soul and loved him, every part of him - both human and vampire. She looked upon his true face and kissed him. And when Angel was poisoned by Faith, Buffy made him feed off her own life's blood. She was willing to give up her life to save him. Their love cannot be severed nor denied. Even Joss, has to admit to that.
They are soulmates
No one can deny this. Buffy and Angel are bound together by an invisible force stronger than anyone can imagine. They can sense each other without even thinking. Such a deep knowledge of awareness of each other can only mean one thing - their souls are forever bound together.

The Celts have a term for soulmates - Anam Cara. Anam Cara, or soul-friend, is a loving, stern companion, one whom you can unburden your heart in full honesty as you move towards enlightenment. The Celts believed that when you connect with another person and become completely open and trusting with that individual, your two souls begin to flow together. Should such a deep bond be formed, it is said you have found your Anam Cara. Your Anam Cara always accepts you as you truly are, holding you in beauty and light. When Buffy and Angel found each other, they found their Anam Cara.

They are true equals
They are both warriors, fighting against evil. Buffy's Slayer strength and abilities are matched by Angel's vampiric strength and abilities. Together, they are a deadly fighting combination with fluid grace and lethal accuracy. Never before has a Slayer cheated death and defied prophecies so many times. The reason why Buffy is so very hard to kill is b'coz of her partnership with Angel. With Angel to watch her back in a fight and to fight on her side, they are unstoppable.
Fighting abilities and physical attributes aside, both Buffy and Angel understand what it is like to be lonely. They know what it means to be the only one of your kind in the world. They understand the enormous burden that comes with the knowledge that the fate of the world rests on your shoulders. They know what it is like to sacrifice everything you have for the world. They know b'coz that is their life.
The love they share is rare and beautiful

The story of their love reaches out and captivates you. It draws you to them, makes their story a part of your life. That is the power and strength of their love.

Some people search a lifetime to find a love like the love between Buffy and Angel, but never find it. Their love is so beautiful and touchingly poignant. Maybe there is something in me that needs to believe that true love - a love that will last for eternity and never die - is real. Buffy and Angel made me believe in that kind of love. And somehow a part of me wants to know that true love does indeed triumph in the end. If a love as beautiful and powerful as the love between Buffy and Angel doesn't end with a happily ever after, what hope do we mortals have for love?
They deserve to be happy together after all that they have been through and sacrificed for the world
Their lives seem to be a constant stream of heartache, pain and suffering. Buffy sacrificed Angel to save the world from Acathla and Angel sacrificed humanity to save Buffy. They both sacrificed their chance to be together b'coz of one another and to save the world. And we have seen each time that no matter what, they have always placed their duty to the world above everything else, even their own happiness and love. After all they have been through, through the heartache and pain, they deserve some happiness. They have fought long and hard on the side of good and they deserve to be rewarded with a chance to that happiness together.
