I've got lots of plans for the next few weeks, I'm glad I'll be making the most of the summer.
 
A conversation with my ex gave me my first genuine laughter in about two weeks. That cheered me considerably 🙂
 
It's a reeeeally sunny day! And even though my day has been kind of irritating, I don't seem to care so much now that I've been hanging out in the sun with a book for a couple of hours 🙂
 
My nerdness came in handy today! 😀
First I got to help my friend complete a crossword puzzle in the newspaper because on of the things was "Floppy eared friend from Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
Then I got a 21/20 on my Spanish test about Counties and their capitals. The extra credit question was "What is the capital of Brasil?" Which is Brasilia, and I knew that from the movie I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. 😀
 
Northern California is SOOO AWESOME!! I was checking it out this past weekend and it was incredible. The atmosphere is very different from Socal. I'm so ready for a change.

No one told me they had so many trees! O.O That might sound weird, but I've lived in desert-y newly constructed suburbia for most of my life, so trees? Like, actual, greener than green, more than a decade old trees? I don't see those too often. I'm not even a "nature" person. But I could get used to the trees. 😛

Only downside was the rain this weekend. And the area I was at (Berkeley) is much more urban than what I'm used to. But whatever. New adventures, new possibilities. I'm happy.

Isn't Northern California awesome! I went away to college up north and LOVED it, The weather took a little getting use to since Southern California is so warm, but you get use it it pretty quick!
My friend flies in tomorrow! I only get to see him like once every two years, cause I guess that's how long it takes him to get clearance to come into the country, and he's staying for a whole week! I'm so excited.

Later today I get to go to my 2nd cus' graduation party and see my family who I have seen fot such a long time!! I CAN NOT wait! 😀
