Why Charmed is better than Buffy

I just looked at the title of this thread and imagined WWIII inside.

I won't say which is better, but I think both are fantastic.

Haha, if you read the posts prior to mine, you'd see they were talking about trying to start a flame war. And if you read further back then that, you might notice me saying I've never seen an episode of Charmed in my life. My anti-Buffy post was completely fake 🙂. I was waiting for someone to take the bait though!

Uhm... the creator was a woman. Constance M. Burge. And she left after the third season, staying on as a consultant. And then finally quit altogether after the fourth season. Then, the show went downhill. Thanks to Brad.

i personaly think peopel soo need to lighten up! charmed is a great show. and there are a lot of shows out there! Dont need to compare them at all!
its like movies u cant say this is better then that...so many people have different views of things...

To mention Charmed anywhere in a conversation about is just Buffy obscene. Like remembering that fantastic Kraft dinner you had earlier while you are sitting down to a four course meal at a five star restaurant. And therein lies the WORST element of Buffy, and the show's popularity - it attracts a pile of hanger's on who claim this show or that is as good or better.

I have never been of the opinion that an Intelligent person could ever understand the genius of someone like Paco De Lucia unil they throw out their old KISS albums. To fully appreciate beauty one must first discard the ugly from their lives. Like a biblical quest you have to let all the chaff fall away to fully reveal the meaning or brilliance in front of you.

Blah, blah, blah...... My show is better than your show. Is there even a Charmed forum? Do those people discuss foreshadowing, shakespearian themes, influences of popular culture and classic literature, themes, arcs, Yeats and other quotations used in the show? Where is the Charmed comics? Where arethe Charmed fans gathering these days?

Seems to me like all three of them are here bugging us. Somebody get out the RAID.

As a final note - I intend to tune in to Charmed in another 25 years when I am an uncurable dirty old man. Does the show have any other purpose?
