Why did Angel hardly 'Vamp Out' in season 5?

I agree with Wicked. However, nice oberservation. I never really thought about that before.

The writers wanted it to lighter so less vamping out besides he was trapped at the place so he was forced to fight evil differently, so less game face.
He was forced to fight evil from an office.

Also... Wolfram & Hart clients and employees aren't very much afraid of the "average" vamp, especially with what they deal with.

The vamp face must have been sucky to apply everyday. Maybe it was something David Boreanaz chose. Poor Lorne, all the make-up day in and day-out. And what about Skip? That must have been hell putting all that on!

Lorne didn't appear in many consecutive episodes so not much with the make-up.
I thought Skip was a suit.

And vampire face seems a lot easier to apply than, as you said, Lorne.
Plus, demony creatures wandering Wolfram & Hart.

What do you mean Lorne didn't appear in many consevutive episodes????? of course he did!! He was in almost every episode in Season 4 and 5. Im sure Skip was a suit but there had to have been makeup applied to his face. Aspecially to keep that hoop in his chin.
