Why did Cordy want the beast to block out the sun?

It would've been complete anarchy so she could operate in secrecy while the Fang Gang were busy with all the demons and the Beast

Good point :) I completely agree.
I agree with XAngelusX. The fang gang would have been trying to solve the problem of vamps having free rain over the city day and night. So they wouldn't have been noticing what was going on right under their noses.
 
Cordy_Chase: Maybe she did know but didn't care. The sun thing was a distraction,just like Angelus was. The Fang Gang was busy trying to get Angelus and didn't pay atention to Cordelia.
 
The blocking out the sun, the Angelus thing. All of it was just a distraction for the gang. With the Beast out and about, Angelus being there, they would have been paying more attention to all of that stuff, instead of noticing Cordy. Because she was pregnant that whole time the Angelus thing was going on, so that kept the gangs attention on Angelus instead of Cordy, because then if they knew about Cordy being pregnant during all of that, they'd want to find out more stuff ont he pregnancy. And posably find out what she had planned befor it went threw.
