why did they get rid of conner?? end of series 4. i know the story yes but ;p was a good character, and made it very interesting at time.

i agree!
even though over here the season is not over yet...so i still get to watch him!!!!!!!!!

I didnt like him at all! he was weird and couldnt understand stuff, and he seem ed to chnage which team he was on every toher week

i can't say i dont like connor.....but he was too confusing......i like da whole out of control no body is my boss thing but connor was just messed up.....

i think taking conor out the way they did was good
evrything that is good in angels life has been taken from him or suffered in some way
the way they took conor out makes it so he never existed he was never angels son angel is the only one who knows othrwise
so he can have piece of mind knowing that no one will try to kill conor to get to angel
and now he has a good life the one angel wanted to give him but he couldnt
now conor is happy and able to lead a normal life
all angel ever wanted was conors happiness and now he has it

im gonna go out on a limb and say you dont like conor

i liked the idea of conor but i dont like the way vince acted as the charactor he came off as cold and emotion less i think

he was all emotion to the extent nothing mattered. ;]
but it takes the threat away ;[ a character who is close and undecided of whose side to fight on. cordy going will be good?
has no real purpose in the show nows ;p in buffy she was hot and mean to xander ;]

They got rid of Connor becos his character couldnt go any further, he came to the end of the line!

im glad conor is gone too but i have different reasons
im not sure what you mean sharky 20- 03 what threat

haha no-one liked connor? i only just starting watching it from 4x14 or something.
he was a threat cos he had evil tendencies. and cos he was angels son the others couldnt really do anything about it. =]
plus he was there with them seeing there every move.

(In my opinion)

REAL LIFE REASON: Vincent Kartheiser originally wanted some steady work on a TV Series, and now that he's done that, he probably wants to get back to his movie career.

ANGEL-VERSE REASON: I agree with whoever said that his storyline had ended. He was in a self-destruct mission, so Angel did him a favour! Plus, I can't see him at Wolfram & Hart, and hanging round not doing anything probably would've annoyed everyone.

true but angel had much more serious evil tendancy's then conor
conors shady tendancy's and the others being unable to do anything about it was the point of his charactor to create termoile between angel and his crew his existance was to weaken them he was born into the world from evil not good we were ment to be unsure of his charactor

i think vince reuind his charactor with crapy acting his potrayal of conor made the charactor retarted in many ways he wasnt able to exspess these points to the viewers but i think if the role had been played by a good actor veiwers would have been able to see the point of the charactor and most people would have liked the existance of the charactor

Well actually, Lilah seems to know about Connor, and presumably so does all of Wolfram and Hart. They are the bad guys, so I assume that if they wanted to they could use Connor in order to control Angel. Plus, Connor doesn't know he is superhuman now, so he would probably have problems defending himself.

Also, I never had a problem with VK's acting. The real reason that it is so hard to feel sorry for Connor is that we never saw the hell he had to go through for 17(?) years in that alternative dimension. We only ever saw him afterwards. It's hardly surprising he is completely messed up.

I have a feeling Conor will be back eventually.

i didnt think of the impact of not seeing the hell conor grew up in and what you said makes sence now that i think of it
perhaps his portail of conor wasnt the problem but the lack of defanition of the charactor was to blaime the writters should have given us a better picture of what it was like for him growing up

i forgot lilah knows about him wich inturn means that they can use conor against him but i hope they dont i like the idea that conor was safe and that angel could feel that he was safe with all of angels sacrafices i was glade to see that something so important to him couldnt be destroyed or taken from him

I agree that his character could go no farther. Everytime trust was forming between him and the rest of the gang something would tear it apart, it happened so much that I could never see him fully inserting himself with the group. He would forever be distrustful of Angel, and continue to create problems. It was an endless cycle. I'm happy for the character, hopefully he will have the chance to have a good life. It's gotta be hell for Angel though. He can't even talk about it with anyone.
