Why didn’t Angel and Fred stay living at hotel in season 5 and just gone to work W&H during day.

Is Fred's room in "A Hole in the World" not her hotel room? I know the set was reused for the expanded W&H set, but I thought she had a room at the hotel still. Maybe they needed Angel at the office 24/7 since he was CEO? That is an excellent question I always wondered.

I don’t’ know why but the Hyperion Hotel missed me in Season 5. I love that place so much. Actually it’s literally my favorite place of Both show. I prefer it to the library, the magic box, the mansion…

On top of the fact they probably didnt trust Angel despite making him CEO. They wanted him as close as possible to keep an eye on him.

Angel had a nicer suite at W&H, though "living above the shop" has its downsides - like Eve popping in when he's in the shower (downside for him, upside for us 😉).

Fred could probably afford her own place on a W&H salary. @Cohen I don't think it was her old hotel room, but I can't find photos to confirm that.

For that matter, I wondered why they didn't all live in the hotel when they had it. There were enough rooms to spread out, and considering AI's financial struggles, a free room should have been a big incentive.

Well I think in Cordelia’s mind it’s unthinkable to leave her apartment. She was literally ready to die to have it 😂😂. I think she loves it too much to leave. Plus she can’t leave Denis alone.
Gunn lived his entire life in the street so I guess it’s not a big deal for him. Also he had his gang he needed to take care. And by season 4 he lives in the Hotel I believe.
Fred lives in the Hyperion Hotel since her return to earth.
Wesley has his apartment and I don’t think he has money problems. He was a watcher. I bet they are very well paid.

Best place ever ❤️
Just realise what it was Angel would had avoided not getting burn by sun everyday and using underground tunnels would be too hard getting to W&H and Fred and Gunn decided to get there own apartment and Lorne probably got living arrangements at W&H due to him be obvious demon.

Then Harmony she did not live at W&H and she must had to find way to walk to W&H everyday without getting burned.

Lorne and Gunn live in hotel in season 3-4.

The episode "Harm's Way" showed part of her getting to work. I think it stopped at showing her going down into her building's garage, but the implication was that she took tunnels.

Right, I forgot about Lorne and Gunn. I guess they also could afford their own places with their W&H salaries. But I missed the "slumber party" aspect of most of them living in the hotel!

Huh I never thought about that bit with Fred being in the Hotel. I always just assumed that they all got apartments and the hotel was left to rot.

I might be in the minority with this, but I didn't like the hotel that much. I think Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been creeped me out so much I couldn't get over it LOL.
