Why didn't Buffy....

So, the bot went to the bank and politely asked for her account pin number I guess. Maybe she had Buffy's driver's license or her ATM card? Did they lift those off her dead body? Weirdness all around, I say.

Another thing, Buffy had a tombstone, was buried in a cemetary, right?. Who exactly was being fooled? Not the cemetary or the funeral home. There would be a death certificate, maybe even an obit in the paper. Seems like only clueless vamps would be fooled.

Did the Scoobs perhaps sneek into the graveyard late one night and bury her in an out-of-the-way section, hoping the groundskeeper wouldn't notice?

Was all of Sunnydale being fooled about her death, or just vamps? I feel like I'm too dumb to exist, asking these questions. Did I miss something?
 
Amber: true, but it still seems unfair. since willow and tara live there too. youd think they could help out. they eat, sleep and use electricity and phones and things. they should help pay.

goldenboy: it looked like buffy was buried out of the way where no one would see the grave. the point was, no one was to know she was dead. she wouldnt have a death certificate cos she was never declared dead. as for the tombstone, dont know where it came from. magic?
 
Magic, out of the way...that's all I can think of. The townsfolk were oblivious to so much anyway, so I guess it's plausible in the context of the Buffyverse.

Xander was fairly handy. Maybe he did the chiseling.

Could be but he had his own apartment to pay for and he had to save his money for the wedding. And that was a really good point about the tombstone too. I mean people can walk by and see it. And I want to know if Angel came to her grave to say goodbyes or something. I can't remeber if they said anything about that but I haven't seen season 2 of Angel so I don't know how or what he did when he first heard of her death. But I do have season 3 of Angel and I know he had to go somewhere because of her death. Don't remember where but there were evil monks.hehe.😀

In the ep where Giles comes back, Buffy tells him that Joyce left her some money, but while she was dead it got used up on luxuries such as food and clothing.

I do wonder why Willow and Tara (when she was still living there) couldn't have chipped in to help. Not living in the dorms had to have saved them some money.
 
Something just occurred to me. Where did Faith get money. When Wes broke her out of jail, she managed to get a bunch of different outfits and managed to go to the bronze and buy drinks with the potentials. How?
 
That's a very good question that I never thought of til' you mentioned it. I don't know how she got the money.
