Why didnt Kakistos not leave any bones?

Why did the master not have cloven hands?

the master is meant to be really old- so old in fact when he dies his bones still exist but in series 3 kakistos' hands are cloven but he cant be as old as the master if his bones wern't left behind when faith dusted him.

kakistos was so old that his hands where cloven but when the master died he left bones, so who is older kakistos or the master- it would appear to be kakistos cos his hands are cloven but the master had bones and he didnt.

It was probably just a continuity error, or maybe Kakistos was older than the Master and the Masters bones didn't turn to dust because he was a more important vampire than Kakistos.

Maybe the change in appearance isn't the same for every vampire. The Master got cherry mouth while Kakistos got cloven hands.

The Master was the oldest. I think he left bones because he was the most powerful and there was a prophecy that he could rise again. As for the Cloven hands thing... I think the Master was more powerful and could withstand the ageing process.

i like that theory, i think that maybe the master was preservedkinda of when he was stuck in the hellmouth
