Why didn't Warren get on a Plane?

The title is pretty much self explantatory. Just to make sure everyone knows what i'm talking about its in regard to Warren trying to escape the clutches of dark Willow. Surely the logical option would have been to get out of the country.
 
having a Robo-Warren almost did the trick. Maybe if he had built an entire army? =/ that way Willow would go mad trying to find the real him

I don't think Willow would have killed innocent people in her attempts to get to Warren. More then likely she would have tracked him down when the plane landed bit it would have given Warren the best possible chance.

She turned on her friends and didn't seem to mind that her actions would end the world later on in the episodes. I don't think she was in her right mind and would probably have taken the plane down without thinking of anything but exacting revenge.

Yep, she would have taken the plane down for sure. Or taken over the controls of the plane and landed it. I'm guessing it would be for storyline reasons and budget that they didn't use a plane instead of a bus.

She didn't try to end the world untill after she sucked all that borrowed power out of Giles and felt the pain of everyone in the world. She was just trying to end their pain.
I do agree that she was not in her right mind....But she only turned on her frineds after they tried to get in her way.
 
Same reason he didn't start selling sex-bots and become a billionaire. Plot convenience.

Oh, and I was thinking that Warren must have already had the robot sitting around ready to be used in an emergency because they took him quite a bit of time to make. There was definitely quite a bit of time between Spike asking for the Buffybot and actually receiving it. I guess Warren didn't have the time to make a WarrenBotArmy. Horrible, horrible thought though...
 
One thing that has to be considered is scheduling. Warren's major concern at that moment was getting out of Sunnydale as quickly as possible, so he might have thought that the bus schedule, which would have gotten him moving more quickly, would be preferable to standing around in an airport lobby waiting for his flight to arrive, have the arriving passengers deplane, have the departing passengers prepare for boarding, then board, and finally take off. With a bus, you just climb aboard and hit the road.

Actually that's a good point White Avenger... Considering that you have to get to an airport 2-4 hours early it definitely wouldn't have been a realistically ideal way to get away fast.
 
Even if he had managed to get on a plane, get through check-in and take off, and if Willow had been sane enough to think about the other people she would be killing by taking down the plane, what's to say that she couldn't have tracked him there, teleported onto the plane and killed him in his seat?

Maybe the Warren Bot was going to be a gift for Andrew. It would certainly be in keeping with Warren's ego and Andrew's...well, you get the idea.

When in danger, the best option isn't always considered... Maybe planes slipped his mind and he just wanted out. But he didn't even leave, did he? He put his Warren Bot on a bus, not him!
 
Ah, well. He was meant to be kind of smart but in reality he probably didn't have the brains to think of that. And, Willow would have gotten him anyway. But I'm glad he didn't, I'm glad he's dead.
