Why didn't you like your least favorite season?

You must have reasons as for why you don't like (or like less) a particular season. Is it a certain arc? A ship you don't like rules the season? A character you loved died? The episodes sucked? Lame big bad? etc.

I didn't like Season 1 as much as the others because it was so monster-of-the-week. Aside from the Buffy/Angel/Xander love triangle there was no other real story arc going on, and not a lot of character development.

I didn't like season 4. I think the main idea was good, but the implementation was bad. May that's because I watched the season in our high-tech-time, maybe when the season sets all those blinking lights had been uptodate but now it just looks ridiculous. And I was crashed because Buffy and Willow went to college, I missed Buffy's house!

S4 'cause of the initiative. I absolutely can't stand that storyline, but there are some really good eps I like individually (Hush, Restless)

Season 7 because...

- The Potentials (specifically Kennedy)
- Kennedy/Willow relationship
- Xander, Dawn, Giles and Faith not doing anything all season
- Chosen was just some generic battle
- Scooby relationship was not made stronger, but made weaker, specifically Giles being insulted by Buffy
- Very weak episodes, IMO, only 1 or 2 episodes that I would consider memorable

Season 6 is my least favorite, because there's too much Spike and Spuffy, Willow's stupid magic addiction, Giles leaving for some reason, overall it's just a bit too depressing..

Hey! Stop with the last-seasons-hating!! 😛 they're my favourite!! ;-)
The only one I don't enjoy as much as the others is season 1: characters are immature, acting is usually not so good and there's a monster every bloody week! Give us some story-arch Joss!! 🙂

I like season 4 the least. It was fine up untill army dudes showed up. I wanted the show to stay as dark toned as the first 3 seasons, but bright labs and men in camo ruined it for me 🙁

I didnt like season 4 because I really liked Sunnydale High, and in season 5 I liked the use of Buffy's house and the magic box, but i did'nt like season 4's college setting. I also really liked Buffy and Angel together, even with all the drama, and Spike and Buffy was a good relationship even though I prefer Bangel, but im not gonna get into that. What i'm saying is I didnt ike Riley. I liked Bangel in Sunnydale High, and Spuffy in the magic box and Buffys house, but i didnt like Buffy and Riley together at UC SUnnydale. Also, I found the initiative immensely boring especially compared to the average BtVS big bad.

Season 7 is just too convoluted for me. There are plot holes, much goes unexplained, and a lot of the story line is never really totally fleshed out. Most of the eps aren't memorable for me. I liked the Spuffy stuff, I like that they ended the show with the closing of the Hellmouth, I like the fact that Faith and Angel made appearances. Other than that, I felt like it wasn't a season up to par for a show that was so awesome. It was too much crammed into too short of time.
