Why does Gwen have a forum

I was looking through the character forums and Gwen has her very own forum even though she was a very minor character(wasn't she only in like, 4 episodes?) whereas main characters like Harmony and Oz dont have their own forums! Whats that about?

I wondered about that too. I can't stand Gwen.
That's quite a good question! I never took notice, but now you mention it...
 
I assume the subforums were created quite a long time ago and as such, don't necessarily reflect how important we would view certain characters in retrospect.
 
Well, I mean, I wasn't visiting this site at the time, but the reasons why Gwen would have gotten her own forum over Oz and Harmony make sense if you think about it. This site was created in 2002. Angel season four started airing in October of 2002. At the time, Gwen would have been a new and interesting character, whom one assumes more people would want to discuss as she was currently appearing in the show. Oz had not appeared on Buffy (or Angel) for a long time. Harmony would return to Angel in season five, but at the time, she too was essentially MIA and hence, would get little discussion. Mystery solved.

Good point. I forgot this site was out in 02.
i've often wondered this too--i think it should be changed since gwen really isn't a very important character at all. oz and/or harmony getting their own makes a lot more sense.
 
Aw, come on, Al, even we can't know everything!

I'm gonna back up what VG and Revolver said. We all assumed back then that Gwen was gonna be a bigger character than she was, and there were a lot of discussions about her, and what an awesome character she is, so she was given her own forum. Oz was MIA at this point and wasn't likely to make a return, and hasn't until now with the comics.

And hey, Connor doesn't have his own forum and he was a MUCH bigger character than Gwen, but you don't hear me complaining, do ya? 😉

Ah, but ya see, I'd just delete all them, or edit them to spread the Connor love. I never said I'd wouldn't use my powers for personal gain.
 
But it could be replaced with a character that was actually in more than like four episodes, such as Oz.
