Why does Lifetime Network butcher Charmed so much?

If Lifetime Network is gonna butcher Charmed Again don't show it at all.

Like they're seriously butchering the entire emotion of Charmed Again Part 1 & 2.

They cut out Piper's argument with Leo on not saving Prue. They cut out the rest of Phoebe's breakdown in Part 2 when she cries for the first time.

They were probably trying to recut the episodes so there was better continuity and less plot holes... BOOM!!

I kid, I enjoyed Charmed, I hate when channels recut shows

It's mostly a timing issue - either they want to shave off a couple minutes here and there so that they can fit it into their schedule, or the time they're showing it is too far away from the watershed so they have to cut some of the questionable things. Like certain words and situations that aren't suitable for all ages.

It happens to pretty much every show, especially ones from this sort of genre.

Could also be them trying to squeeze in more commercials and still fit into a 1 hour timeslot. Over the years FCC regulations about how much commercial time a program can have keep getting whittled away. That has lead to shows that were made under the old rules getting "trimmed down" when in reruns.

Pretty much they're trying to get more commericals in. Chiller does the same thing to Buffy. They completely butchered "Once More, With Feeling" a while back. It sucks, because it robs people who might be watching the show for the first time of moments that are very essential to the series.

Ugh, it sucks. Plain and simple. If there's one thing I dislike, its people cutting out portions of Buffy or Charmed.
