Why is it not liked by many?

Alot of people have said that season6 has sucked like no other season. I ask the question, why? Season 6 has had a darker theme..yes but, that doesn't mean it sucked. We had so many good things in this season.
 
Some of the episodes were below par but, some episodes were terrific. Granted it does have the worst episode ever - Doublemeat Palace. There are alot of changes in this season and there mostly to do with the cast.
 
below par, isn't that with golf? ... And isn't it a good thing to be below par with golf ... nm!

I think the main problem is that we didn't like some of the changes that were going on, and it should have had a stronger bad guy plot, the whole Darth Rosenberg was great, but it was only three eps!
 
I actually really liked Season 6 - I know alot of people disliked the whole Buffy & Spike relationship too but I actually understood it, and what they were trying to get across. Yes it was out of character for Buffy, but then don't we all get a little crazy from time to time? There were some really good eps in this season, but then for me it would have to be really bad for me not to like it.

It was just a much darker season, that was all about the scoobs growing up, and taking responsibility for their actions, whether they be good or bad. I think they reflected that pretty well.

A lot of people disliked the whole darker image, but then those same people also watch Angel, which is way darker, I wonder what's up with that!
 
I liked all but double meat palace, the second half was far superior than the first, which was the opposite with angel s3.
 
I thought most of season 6 was great especially OMWF, Tabula Rasa, Smashed, Wrecked. I agree Double Meat Palace was weak but I think the weakest was As You Were, but maybe I'm biased as I cannot stand Riley (such an ****) and I always thought Buffy and Spike were good together.
 
I liked some of Season 6 the only episodes I did like was villians, OMWF and Tabula Rasa. I couldnt stand the rest. I liked it when Warren died, I hated it when Tara died that was just really jacked. SO yes, to me Season 6 sucked to some point.
 
I think the writing was sub-par too. Sometimes I was wondering if they could pack in more boredom and filler into each episode, but I doubted it. Joss wasn't paying as much attention to each episode and it showed. Some episodes were fantastic, while others were snoreworthy.

And c'mon.. The troika?!? Exactly who was it that imagined they could carry so many episodes as the 'Little Bad'? Their little group bent on world domination was funny for exactly 2 episodes, then it became boring. If Buffy didn't think them a serious enough threat to pay any real attention to them then why should we have had to?


Not to complain though, OMWF is one of my all-time favorites, and I liked the Bargaining 1 and 2 as well. Tabula Rasa was interesting. It was all the 'filler' eps that turned me off. A TV show should never have 'filler eps', each show should be entertaining in it's own right.
 
I loved the whole season im a big willow fan so im glad she had the chance to develop i liked the darkness and the funny side i thought it was great writing and contained alot of my fave epps such as OMWF and Tabula rasa! the only epp i hated was DMP!
 
I thought season six rocked maybe because I LOVE spuffy but other than that there really was some really good things happening.

The only thing I HATED just absolutely HATED was when Riley came back oh I cant begin to tell you how much I HATE Riley. Oh I could have strangled him when he told spike to shut up when spike was almost in tears and he tells him to SHUT UP oh not to mention he broke up spuffy, if he never came back they would have still been at it for atleast a couple more eps, but I can still be happy with the fact that he came back married oh I could have thrown another party like I did when he left. I just wish Angel would kick his @*s again that was just great, I totally loved Angel for that. 🙂 😀 🙂 😀
 
Some of the episodes in Season 6 were good (i.e: OMWF, and Tabula Rasa) but the main reason why I didn't like Season 6, was because of all the Spuffy sex. It got tiresome. Season 6 was also SMG's leasted like Season as well, and her leasted like episode was Dead Things because she was uncomfortable with that Spike scene. As I was uncomfortable having to watch that scene.

But, as I said, the reason why I hated it was because of Spuffy.

4. way too much sex!

dr Morgus ur talking about S7, we're talking about S6. It wasnt the last season and they didnt have SITs that season

I liked S6 I just didnt like the Spike and Buffy sex cause like SMG I think that was wayyyy out of Buffys charecter
 
I hated Season 6 espically Buffy and Spike relestionship and the way she treated him. i just didnt think that the storylines was that good i know it was about Buffy dealing with coming back from Heaven but why did she have to go running to Spike.....i love his character but not him and Buffy. I think the best Ep's were Tabula Rasa and The Finale and thats it ooo and Once More With Feeling.
 
i liked s6 i think it showed lots about everyones character. Buffy sleeps with spike. Dawn has her first kiss and steals. Xander leaves Anya at the alter and she became a vengeance demon. Willow gave up magic then turned evil. Also what was wrong with Double Meat Palace
