Why is Season 7 hated soo much?

I was just wondering as I dont think it was bad at all..yesh It could of been better but still...
 
A BUFFY fan I met said she thought the "oh no there's another apocalypse thing" was getting old. The First isn't even corporeal! I don't like Spike all mopey over his soul. Angel works better with that. S7 is supposed to be a season of forgiving cuz of all the lies and deceit in S6. That was a bit boring. Don't get me wrong. There's a lot of good moments in S7, but the Willow/Kennedy relationship didn't have a lot of chemistry. My two cents.
 
i agree bout that,but personally ,i liked season 7,dont ask me why,i just thought it had a lot of good moments,i hought it was better then season 6(didnt like that season)
 
Yeah,it was TOO dark for my liking,OMWF was wicked but other eps(some of them) i didnt like,like Smashed ,Wrecked and doublemeat palace etc

No,I dont think season 7 is a bad season so i dont know why its hated!
 
"Hated" is too strong a word. It's... disliked. Viewers weren't that invested in the new characters. I didn't care about what happened with the First or if Wood was about to be Buffy's new beau. But that's just me.
 
yeah i suppose,but with The First,The Bringers could actually fight,in season 3,they couldnt-i thought that was weird,some eps werent that good,but i think overall it's good.
 
The writing is still funny, but the writers laid off the drama. This is why I tuned in to watch the other seasons:

S1: The story arc was good and the early stages of B/A.
S2: Angel and Buffy with their starcrossed story.
S3: Faith- what was she doing?
S4: For the funnies and the developments of Willow.
S5: Buffy has a sister? Drama and funnies. B/S was at their sweetest.
S6- High drama. I tuned in and out.

Season 7, characteristically, was a little bit less interesting than the other seasons.
 
I agree S1-3 were the best seasons ever!! B/A was the best!!! I h8ed S4....S5 was gud..I reali liked tht one. S6 was the one that I would sometimes watch...S7 was quite good..ive seen better.
 
i'm sitting watching some ep's of s7 now(i haven't seen all of s5 or s6... and i'm watching the end of s7(eps15til the last one..) and i have to say that that caleb guy.. going on my nerves, buffy is also going on my nerves.. being all selfriciuse and stuff! REALLY pisses me of!not liking the buffster much at the end... though she is great in the last ep! that she shall have!🙂 and and i agree the willow, kenedy thing is a bit off! but the rest is ok, with giles, and faith and so on. i think it's cool that they brought faith back in the end like that, so that we can see who she is now.. 2years after! 🙂 and andrew is sorta funny... ep 19 is great!when they "throw" a sertain slayer over! and anya is great
 
I really liked Season 7, it wasn't my favourite but to me nothing is ever going to be better than Season 2 (that is my personal opinion). I thought Season 7 was very enjoyable and a great way to end Buffy.
 
I liked s7.
I think I can understand people not liking it, becuase it lost a lot of humour, and it got VERY dark, especially toward the end win Caleb!
I do admit, I didnt like it at first, but I slowly got into it, it seemed ashame to end the show with like, the no-humour and everything else 🙁
 
I did like S7 but there were a few things which made me not like as much as other seasons.

- Concentrating on the Spike character to the point the other character's issues and changes were neglected. Too much Spike.
- Introducing Wood, no need for it. Without him there would of be more Core Scooby Action!
- Caleb
- Not using the second half of the season to answer the questions presented by the first half.
- Not giving Anya the death scene she deserved.
 
Yeah, they had Xander deal with her death and then it was done. Over with. That took 5 min. I hated that Buffy was being so self righteous and completely ignoring the others. Then she kisses Angel in spite of everything going on with Spike? What's up with that? The story arc was boring. I like the Scoobies just as they are. Willow was shown too much feeling bad about herself and Xander and Anya going on again, off again. The vamp Buffy talked to in CWDP was like a character prop. Just created so Buffy could say all those things in one short ep. This season was full of unanswered questions and lack of humor.
