Why is Your Favourite Ship Your Favourite?

For me, it's Calendiles all the way. I know for certain that I cannot articulate why nearly as well as HisMrs did up there, but I can try.
They were cute together, yes, but that's not the only reason that I liked them. I liked that, despite their breaches of trust, they both managed to forgive the other. I think that, if Joss hadn't busted a move and cut them short, they would have gone the distance and stayed together for a long time.

Even though I always say I think Tara and Willow were the ones that were 100% meant to be together, I can't help but see Woz as my favourite ship. Doesn't mean I don't adore Tillow, but I just love the way Willow and Oz are with each other. I can't watch episodes with them in without being all alodjasdlkhfaslfdf awwhhhh :') I'd love to be in a relationship like that!

I ship Buffy & Spike because I love the way they know and understand each other, their love was meaningful to me, it felt true. It took a lot of time for them to be in a good place (considering their past, it had to be complicated), but ultimately, they were both at their truest with each other. And that means a lot to me, because they love each other for who they are. I love that authencity. They're not scared of showing their fragilities and their failings to each other, there's a lot of trust, and that's what being in love means to me. While it started in a complicated way, their relationship grew in something different, romantic and beautiful -there was a deep connection. I also love that they often mess up things. They're clearly not perfect and they don't always have the perfect attitudes, and I just love that. They make mistakes. But like Elena said, ultimately, their relationship is about hope and forgiveness, and I'm admirative of their faith in each other, they know they can rely on each other. Their relationship felt really mature. They became really important in each other's life and journey.

Their dynamic is also priceless.
