why people hate spike?

I love him he's my favourite character...I admit I wasnt that keen on him in S6 but he has a nice body!! I dont hate him I just dont like him and Buffy together.
 
when buffy and Spike were to gether i was just so jelous of buffy

I think that Spike was much better as the big bad than the "I love buffy" zombie

how can people not like spike hes like took over the show well till it ended. he was a bigger star than buffy herself.
 
i think spike is a ace character an is a key role in the show. i strugle to see why some people do hate him so much.
 
I don't hate Spike. I hate fact that he's with Buffy, that's all...
 
I don't hate Spike, but I do hate how he took over the show, taking the attention away from the core members of the group. It became the Spike show......I didn't sign on for that program personally. Females must of loved it because he's an attractive guy, but I watch Buffy for good story telling.
 
who ever hates him is stupid, I think hes the best character in buffy, hes funny amusing and hes hot.....what else can we ask for. HE IS PERFECT.

Spikes Awesome! Hes hot, funny, a bad boy but good when he needs to be. How much better can it get. I liked it when he was with Buffy. We all know they weren't in love, but its better that way.
 
I totally love Spike. He is one of my favorite characters. Most of the Spike haters are probably Angel lovers.
 
I like Spike but it did pi$$ me off how he kinda replaced the core scoobies,k he intervened!!! I love Buffy/Spike! 🙂
 
Spike is an awsome character and James an amazing actor. How could they help but focus so much attention on him? I get sick of people bagging on him and praising Angel when Angel is no better. Yes, Spike had that chip before the soul getting but he always had heart. And he wasn't cursed with his soul. Angel couldn't be good without the soul but Spike could. I like Angel and all but I just feel like Spike is seen as a lower being. They have both killed and worse. They have both saved the world. But Spike has always tried harder...even without the soul.
 
Alot of people, along-side myself think that spike really captures the show, so why dosent he get his own? That would be great if he could, but I think he is going to Angel now...

Ive never been in favor of Spike.....but before you bite my head of think about it, most of the comments above mention Spikes looks, body, and his relationship with Buffy....but hardly any mentioned acting skill. Being male i find it hard to love Spike for his body etc....youll find most of the Spike haters are either. Plus ive always prefered Angel.

B) Haters of the 6 season
C) Haters of the Buffy/Spike relationship
D) Believe Buffy and Angel belong together

I love Spike!! I dont get how some people dont! He is a gREAT actor... because JM isnt really English... he ACTS like it! Great actor! Also... he's got a great bod (SIX PACK!!!) Great looks... great personality! JM looks pretty good for a FORTY YEAR OLD MAN huh? 😉 and I find SPUFFY ... really really GREAT! I love them together! Angel is never around...🙁 GO SPUFFY!🙂

I agree. Spike rocks. And James Marsters IS an awsome actor. I saw him in an interview and I couldn't believe how many accents that man can do! He's amazing! And what's more is he's VERY smart and VERY focused. Him, Sarah and Allison are the best that show had. And if they get Buffy and Angel together it'd be pretty bad. I mean come on, before that coma thing Angel was acting like Cordy was the best thing since sliced bread now all of the sudden it's oh well back to Buffy? I think the boy should move on. LONG LIVE SPIKE AND BUFFY!
 
QUESTION....how could anybody not like spike?????? he'se like the one of the best characters and he'se cute🙂
 
I like Spike. I thought he was really good in season two. I'm not a big fan of the Buffy/Spike relationship and thought he got a bit soft in the last two seasons but I don't hate him. He was important to the Buffy story.
