Why the Spike hate?

The Spike haters don't see it as an exception. Other people do though.

What people? I am talking about the characters.

Again, whether Spike knew or not wasn't the point of the scene. The point was to show a slayer's duties come first, even the love of their own children.

Something else coming first isn't the same at all as not loving someone. Might as well claim Buffy didn't love Spike because she loved Dawn more (or vice versa). Or that she didn't love either because she left Spike burn and claimed she would sacrifice Dawn to save the world if need be.

Why do you think they bickered when Buffy called him out on his moping? Spike thought he had become the man Buffy wanted (and he did), but she also wanted that warrior inside Spike. The dangerous Spike that could kill a demon without getting a huge beating.

Spike needs to take responsibility for his own actions. Buffy telling him to do something isn't an excuse.

IMO, short and sweet since the thread got closed, lol, (1) Buffy saw Spike as an exception, (2) Buffy wasn't Nikki Wood (she was full of love), and (3) Spike did take responsibility for his own actions in s7.
This thread has reached it's limit and I'm closing it. Feel free to open a new one 🙂
