Why Was Faith the Only Convicted Killer?

I agree with you anyway Wolf, I like to believe Faith's off biking America with Wood somewhere.

My favourite Faith spinoff idea though, is Faith and Dana (the crazy slayer from Damage).
 
ooh, i liked her. but i dont know what they could do with that. other than make faith the good slayer for once 🙂
 
That's the thing though. Both Faith and Dana are killers.

Who other than Faith would have empathy with Dana, and possibly be able to connect with her. Plus Faith has that whole redemption thing to pass on, that she got from Angel.

On the other hand it's nice to think of Faith finally happy, and with Wood. I wonder if Faith could ever do that wife of the Principal trip?

Oh, but wait...what's this thread about again? Oh yeah, should Faith go to jail? Nah I don't think she should turn herself in again.

I didn't want Bufffy to turn herself in either, even if it had turned out the real Katrina had taken friendly fire the way Buffy thought.
 
Yeah, no way she should go back to jail. After all, jail is made for people to redeem themselves right? Like, to ponder over what they've done so that when they get out they are not big baddy anymore... I think Faith made the deal, she's not about to kill anyone not evil now right? So I don't see why she should go back to jail... plus she would kick the cops' butts anyway :redwink:
 
she already did that when the cops came after her at the bronze when she took the potentials.
but that episode shows how she's changed. buffy hit her and instead of fighting back she just took it. i guess jail helped! 🙂
 
Yeah I agree that Faith didn't go back to jail. She had done the time she needed to do to "get better".. Which is pretty obvious to me in season 7.. She really is changed...
But, I just so can not see her with Wood. Why is it that just because they happen to share something in the end of Chosen, people believe she's gonna end up with Wood..? Uh, the two of them together just annoys me.. mhm..
 
Really. Can you see it? Wood comes home from a hard day principaling, and Faith is waiting there behind the white picket fence in an apron, and she's been cooking cookies all day for the evening PTA meeting.

On the other hand what if Wood gave into his wild side a little. What if he joined up with the new Watchers, and Faith went off to do her thing, but they'd meet up from time to time for the heat, then you'd have the whole should they, shouldn't they hook up for real thing going on.
 
Willow could not have served time in prison for Warren's murder. She had used magic to kill him and the police would not have believed her if she had confessed.

Andrew could not have served time in prison for Jonathan's murder. He had cleaned the murder weapon. And Robin Wood (under the First Evil's thrall) had buried the body. However, Buffy should have turned him over to the police for the robbery attempt in "Seeing Red".

However, Angel should have turned Wesley over to the police for Knox's murder. Not only did Wesley killed the defenseless Knox, he did so in front of witnesses and with a gun that could have been handed over as well.

I think I missed something. When was it ever stated Wood was under the First Evil's thrall when he buried Jonathan. Is that in the DVD commentary, or something?

I always wrote that one off to being one of those maddening unanswered questions from Season 7 - Why did Wood bury Jonathan?

As far as the demon battlers of BTVS and ATS turning each other in for crimes committed that may be punishable by human law, once that begins there's a ton of such illegal instances. Everything from Murder, to computer hacking, to animal cruelty. Technically when Buffy is aware of the murder Faith commits, and of the expunging of evidence, yet she doesn't turn the guilty party in, she herself becomes complicit in the murder.
 
i always assumed he buried andrews body because he knew of the whole supernatural sunnydale thing being a child of a slayer. after all, buffy buries demons when she kills them. not a great leap to assume wood does the same. demon or not. and besides, how does he know jonathan was human?
 
I was just wondering about something.

If you consider the legal facts alone, who was the worst criminal on either series?

I nominate Willow. Here is a list of some of her crimes.

* Murder. (2 counts)
* Attempted Murder.
* Evidence tampering.
* Assault.
* Car Theft.
* Endangering a minor.
* Falsifying government records.
* Computer crimes.
* Harboring a fugitive.
* (assuming Kennedy is a minor) Transporting a minor across state lines for sexual purposes.
* Hunting deer without a licence.
 
I think Kennedy is at least 18 (is that legal in America). But yeah Willow is naughty but what judge could put her down?

Oh and dont forget breaking and entering, one case I can think of is the morgue they broke into when they thought Oz was a killer, it'd be the ep where Angel just came back in S3 and was all animal like.
 
18 is the age of consent in the US. Or does it vary by state? I think 18's the magic number if you're dealing with a teenager and an adult. You don't hear much about statutory rape involving two females. I have noticed an increasing trend in America of female high school, grade school teachers sexually exploiting their students. Don't know if it's just being reported more.

I think Willow had possibly the most personal power to grapple with of all the humans in the 'verse. Immense potential for corruption.
