Why was this never addressed in "Your Welcome" episode

Hi all, haven't been on here in a long time. Just watched season 5 for the 1st time, though I have watched the episode "Your Welcome" before. I just have a question that always stumps me when I watch it.

Cordelia tells Angel and Wesley in the hospital that she remembered everything that happened while Jasmine was in her body. Theres a scene where shes doing research with Wesley and she apologizes to him for what happened to Lilah. He tells her that he understood it wasn't her. Yet Cordy still felt compelled to apologize and she seemed almost as if she had some guilt over it.

Cordy spent a lot of time with Angel in this episode, and I always found it weird that she never brought up the whole, Jasmine using her to sleep with Connor issue.
Jasmine using her to sleep with Connor was far more disturbing and drastic than her killing Lilah, yet she apologizes to Wesley and not Angel. Why is that?

Yeah, I can't imagine that it would be something that you'd want to bring up, given how terribly awkward it would be. Though now that you bring it up, I'm a little surprised that they didn't even allude to it or anything else - just strikes me as something that someone should have thought of.
 
or maybe it was an unspoken thing between them that Angel would know exactly what it was like for Cordy, having someone else in your body doing these atrociousness things and then having to live with the guilt of it all afterwards.

This is exactly why I wanted her in season 5- I wanted to see her struggle and deal with these things. It could've been a really good storyline. She's one of my favorite characters on Angel.

I would say common sense would account for all of it.

With Wes, Cordy felt guilty is was her hands that killed Lilah. The whole sleeping with Connor thing, Cordy herself was arguably the biggest victim. In many ways, Jasmine raped both Cordy and Connor...

I agree with your observation, in fact also I've always wondered why Cordelia does not feel the need to apologize to Angel. Not only does not apologize, but accusation Angel to he had given up his son, but forget to accuse herself to be responsible for what happened to Connor.

If Cordelia feels guilty for Lilah, a fortiori, she would have to feel guilty for having contributed to bringing Connor to suicide. Instead she accused Angel of having forgotten his son, and tells him that he was seduced by the power etc. ..but acquits herself for what happened to Connor. I thought that his words were not absolutely appropriate and was very unfair, Cordelia had no right to talk that way to Angel. If he is at W&H, Cordelia is also partly responsible for this, but apparently, she was rewarded, while Angel and Connor have paid for the consequences of his mistakes. Angel was the one who suffered the most (besides Connor, of course) for the wrong choices of Cordelia (and Wesley).

I have to say that the scene has bothered me a lot!
 
I think partly because she was close to Wesley but a lot closer to Angel and this was something that could go unspoken between them.
