Why we can’t wait for the “Sabrina The Teenage Witch” reboot

Now that is truly funny, the goats head was used in witchcraft long before America was even a glint in the eye of any Puritan, and the goats head skull was used and still is used as good thing.
Satanic Temple indeed, what a load of crap.

I watched the first episode. Wasn't too impressed, but a bit intrigued. It's very different from the Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I really like the actress playing the new Sabrina, I like the aunts, not sure who this cousin is, and so far Salem the cat doesn't talk 🙁. But I'll probably keep watching, I've head good things.🙂 It does feel a bit like Riverdale meets Stranger Things. And I like those shows, so. lol

Well if they haven't already they need to stick "Riverdale meets Stranger Things on a poster for Sabrina"!
What does one make of the Satanic preacher sounding indistinguishable from a fundamentalist Christian. What is the appeal of being a Satanist if you have to follow all these rules.

I do like the through line of Sabrina going up against the dark lord to reclaim her power.

To up stand for the show, which was pretty good, I too think the adults are more interesting then the teenagers but that is likely is a function of what age you are now.

I saw a episode of the original Sabrina The Teenage Witch recently, love Melissa Joan Hart's Sabrina and how brassy she is a uncommon depiction on televison, especially as the protagonist and more so as a teenage girl. Sabrina is portrayed as driven, intelligent, strong and kind, sense of humor, like Buffy there is not a false dichotomy of a tomboyish girl with brains or a chaste goody goody versus a girly girl who likes shopping and boys she can be all at once.

So I just finished this not too long ago, and Idk I have odd feelings towards this show.
It's like I couldn't stop watching it, yet I didn't connect to a single character. None of them felt relatable.
The Harvey/Sabrina relationship did nothing for me.
Sabrina did nothing for me.
I pretty much only found Mrs. Wardwell interesting.

Did anyone else feel this way?

Yeah I think you just made me realize what I've been trying to articulate in my mind. I liked the show but I don't feel emotionally attached to any of the characters. Weird!
