Wiccan,paginism And Other Spiritual Religions

MERRY MEET everyone

i was just wundering if anyone on buffy-boards believed in either wiccan,witchcraft,paginism,occult or any other religon or practise in magics

i have been researching and keeping an open mind for a 1year now in some of the above religions how about you guys....?????

Also have you ever had a paranormal experience??if sooo share plaese!!!

I've alwyas been very interested in Wicca. I've tried to tell my Mom it's really not all crap. She doesn't believe me though. One of my friends is really into it, so I've read the books she had on Wicca and everything, but that's about it. I would love to really be able to freely research it. I know the basics, holidays, Gods and Goddesses, ect., but not much. Ana8 is there any good websites or anything that I could find out more about it, without buying books or anything like that, because my Mom would kill me?

I found this site a few months ago....

ive been into witchcraft and the occult since i was little...my dad reads tarot cards (as i do) and does seances etc and my uncle was an occult leader which my family only found out about when he died and his stuff got passed on to my dad like his altar and sacrifice stuff,Knives, and goblets and chalice, lots of books including the necronomicom and spell books...also some pretty freaky photos of the rituals they used to do....

i casted lots of spells but none of them have worked...im more into the mental side of things like telekenisis...a friend and i used to be able to make things happen whenever we were together...
we were sitting in a pub one day and there were some guys that but we were both to nervous to talk to them and were discussing what we could do to get talking to them...so out of the blue i said wouldnt it be weird if some guy had a heart attack and the paramedics came and we were all standing round and started talking to the guys about what happened...then ten minutes later we saw flashing blue lights outside and these paramedics came in and carted some old bloke off as he had a heart attack in the toilets...we were so freaked out we left without talking to the guys...i dont know if we caused it to happen or maybe just predicted it...

Another time me and my friend were sitting in my cousins house we were all sitting round having a laugh and all of a sudden i had a weird feeling so i said to them..look im only saying this in case it happens and you dont believe that i knew but there is going to be a car accident outside here tomorrow...they just laughed at me...the next day we were walking down to the shop at the end of the road and two cars crashed into each other right in front of us....again was it my fault or a preminission.

loads of other stuff like that happened...and at my old house loads of freaky things happened...one night i woke up at 3am to go to toilet..as i walked across the landing i thought i saw someone standing outside my parents bedroom, but just dismissed it as i was half asleep so went into the toilet...then i heard someone walk past the toilet door so i thought maybe my dad had got up, as sometimes when he couldnt sleep he would go downstairs to read...then someone was scratching on the toilet door..then they walked down the stairs and papers were rustling in the hallway..the door to our lounge is a sliding door all of a sudden it started sliding back and forth really quickly...i still thought maybe it was my dad so after half an hour of listening to all these noises i decided to have a look (as you do)...so i went out onto the landing and went into my parents room both of them were fast asleep...so i ran into my bedroom and sat up all night with my head under the covers...

Other things that used to happen were we would hear laughing coming from downstairs at 3am every morning for about a month...and someone used to knock on our front door at 3am ten times and the last knock was really loud...my dad waited one night to find out who was doing it so when it started my dad opened the front door...no one there then the second he closed the door it knocked really loud...

There's so many things that have happened to my parents etc in that house...but i would need to write a book....i dont live in that house anymore but i never really felt that scared except the toilet incident that scared the hell out of me...
 
I was wiccan for 9 years. I'm not anymore. Paranormal things have happened to me, but I don't feel like typing them all again. They're in a thread in caritas already. I still get premonitions. bla bla bla.
 
I've been a Witch/Wiccan since April... or March of 2003. It was quite hard for me, because I'm only thirteen. And my mom was getting married to a very religious Christian man and kids. So yeah. I get teased at cool, rude remarks like, "Witch," "Hang the witch," "I'm going to burn you," and I get crosses stuck in my face all the time. And I also get my Pentacle ripped off from time to time.
 
Your stories are kinda freaky Akasha. I'd be so scared with the knocking at the door thing!
 
Holy crap, Akasha, that would freak the hell out of me! I wish I had some sort of paranormal power of any sort ... well, I don't know. This one time I was eating lunch with some friends and we saw a guy we knew that we didn't like at all. And I said wouldn't it be great if he just sorta tripped and busted his nose on something? Well, before we were about to leave he got up and slipped on a napkin and actually busted his nose and it was really bloody. I was freaked out ...

I don't really believe in the occult and wiccan really, I believe in some things supernatural, but I don't think they have anything to do with a religion such as the pagan or wiccan religion, they're just another kind of opium for the people.
 
I don't get made fun of at school. People actually come to me for help and for me to do tarot cards. It's died down now since I've told people I'm not into it anymore.
 
I'm not 'praying' really to any Gods if it's not necessary plus there are more subtle differences.No I can't levitate pencils..and I see no reason for doing that..
 
I'd like to learn more about it all, tho I'm not sure I believe in it.
I'd like to know more so that I could make my mind about it.
 
I've always been interested in this kinda stuff but i've never got round to actually studying it! Too much to do i guess... shame really cos i'm curious!
 
yer i no because all the advise you get is read read read!!!::morn::

i supose its best that way because if the information was easily accesable everyone would be goingaround moving things(telikineses-sp?) and in the wrong hands........i dnt want to think about it!!::dead::
