Has anyone read these books by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie?

I've only read the first 2 lol, but I really enjoyed them 🙂

Really? I'm about 3/4 of the way through it and I'm so confused. I get the basic idea that there are two covens and they're pretty much mortal enemies but I'm not sure why. I get that Holly and Jer are Isebeau and Jean but I'm not sure how. I don't understand what the Black Fire is and why it's important. I've seen very little interaction between Holly and Jer and yet they love each other? Is that because of Isebeau and Jean? Also, I don't understand where Holly, Amanda, and Nichole's powers come from. I mean, I know they come from their ancestors, but how is their power building? They don't seem to practice or anything. I feel like I missed a whole section of the book or I'm starting in the middle or something.

lol I thought you were talking about something else LOL

I haven't seen the musical, but I have a book from the musical(behind the scenes and such)

I have been wanting to read the books but some people have told me that it is not as enjoyable as the musical

Wooooo! then that's the book for me!!! i mean... I'm sure it will be interesting. If I have time I'll make sure to skim through it. No rush though..haha

Oh! I know what you're talking about! But yeah, different thing. Now I feel alone in the world. 🙁

I haven't read any of the books or seen the musical but my friend has lent me the book based on the musical to read. Anyone able to say if it is good or not?

when I first saw the name for this thread I was all excited as well thinking you meant the Gregory Mcguire novel XD so I'm sorry I haven't read the ones you mentioned :/
