For those of you that dont no what a widgey board is ,its a calling of past spirits where you and a relative brother what eva place small squares around in a circle with a letter of the alphabet on each one.You both place one finger lightly on an upside down glass in the middle of the circle.You call on a spirit and the spirit moves the glass to a letter and writes a sentance.I did it with my brother we called on our Pop we dont no if it was him but any way he wrote somethin and then we were like oh my god this is cool,then the glass was thrown of the table and smashed on the floor,I will never do this eva again as it can put you life on a thin thread.My advise is dont try it,It was pretty scary cause we were only young and we did it when we were by ourself.Has anyone else done this???
 
i do it with my friend all the time in her basement in the dark, (our board glows in the dark). And it only worked for us twice, its scary as hell but what it speled out on a sertain day nothing hapend. so we sized it down to rubbish lol but its stll fun!!!!!!!
 
PW It's actually called a ouiji boards, and people should be very careful when using them; they can be used for just about anything to cross over, and aren't to be played with.
 
man...falkin oijiiii boards....i wouldn't falk with them...thats falking with shiz that you don't want to falk with...
 
These should only be attempted by people who know what they are doing, a dangerous toy when placed in the wrong hands.
 
I learned the hard way they werent to be played with.
When I was younger, me and my friends were messing with one, and first it spelled out 'death' then 'Lee' (my name) and all of my friends names! lol! But I guess Im still alive, but thats not the point, as Faith and Buffy Summers and Soulgasm have said, PLEASE DONT MESS WITH THEM. My friend had to like go to therapy it scared her that much!

yeah man...those falkin evil spirits don't falk around man...open a door thats hella hard to close...
 
I know its freaking scary.My friend did it with another one of my friends, I didnt wanna do it again so i watched them, and like 5 books flew off their book shelf and I ran out of his house screaming,lol,but i agree they're not something to be messed with
 
Point 1. Ouija boards are not to be taken lightly/messed about with or considered light hearted fun - if you do not know what you are doing then it will end in tears.

Point 2. They are not, contrary to popular belief 'evil' - if used correctly they are just a means of connecting with other planes of existence.

Point 3. They are actually only necessary when first learning how to contact spirits, as you become more in tune, there is actually no need for a ouija board, as you will automatically know what those contacting you are trying to say.

Point 4. Point 1. Ouija boards are not to be taken lightly/messed about with or considered light hearted fun - if you do not know what you are doing then it will end in tears. If you do not show the proper respect for ouija boards, you will contact malevolent spirits - this does mean they are evil necessarliy. I cannot state enough - do not mess with them unless you have someone with you who can perfom a blessing and guide you safely and who know's what they are doing!
 
I've never used one before, but from what you've all said I dont' think i will be anytime soon
 
Woah, I had no idea Ouija boards were taken so seriously. I mean, I've used one a couple times before... nothing really happened.
 
Ouija boards...I stay as far away as I can. I have had a couple of bad expieriences that I don't care to repeat.

Soulgasm, I was going to say the same thing about Brandon Lee lol!

Wicca, like ouija is not something to be "messed around" with. I know of a fair few people who have studied wicca, and it's a very complex and balanced religion
 
Wicca again is something that shouldn't be taken lightly. It's best to read up on stuff first before even attempting anything. 🙂

Also you've got to have the right frame of mind while practising, ie whatever you undertake has got to be done in the knowledge that you won't be doing any harm to others, as this will only come back on you later. IMO you've got to have a greater understanding of the world around us and Nature and how it works.

Alot of people seem to want to get into wicca just to be able to do spells and do stuff for self gain, but IMO this isn't the right way to do it.

In saying all this though, I have found it to be very satisfying learning all about wicca, and obviously with so much to learn there's always going to be something new to discover every day, so to speak.

Ok, I've rambled enough, but basically what I'm trying to say is, that if you're prepared to learn and can take the time doing it properly, then it is worth trying, but just remember, give it the respect it deserves. 🙂
 
Oujia BOards scare the hell out of me too, some girl my friend knows messed with one and soon after strange things started to happen in her house, (like potatoes being thrown at her) it was that freaky it was in the local papers and everything-well scary. Thats definetly put me off, plus watching the Long Time Dead. Do Djinn's really exist then?
