At first, I absolutely DESPISED this song. Although I just recently LISTENed to it and I've realized it's a great song.

Whaddya'll think about it?
 
It's on my ipod and I listen to it every night almost. It is a beautiful song. I loved it right away.
 
i have it on my ipod too. i think it's a great song! i especially love the scene it's used in on the show: "the prom" when buffy and angel are dancing. very beautiful moment.
 
It's a beautiful song, very fitting of the occassion.

But then, I love The Prom. I always get teary when they give her the Class protector award and then seeing Angel not being able to stay away is just....awwww!

I agree it's a beautiful song and a beautiful scene. I too get teary eyed with the class protector award. Then it just gets worse when the song starts playing and Angel walks in to surprise Buffy. Wonderful episode. Now I wanna go watch it again. 😀
 
Wild Horses is one of my favorite songs off of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer soundtrack.
 
i love the song. i think it's beautiful and sweet...but it reminds me of Bangel!! and as everyone here knows, i'm a Spuffy!! lol, doesn't stop me listening to it all the time...it's also on my ipod! 😀
 
I also love that song, I was happy when I saw that it was on one of the soundtrack CDs.

And I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who got tears in their eyes with the Class Protector award bit and Angel turning up, I just thought I was being overly-emotional 😀

You were so not the only one. I have seen that epi 8 times and still get a tear.
I first heard the song in that movie Fear with Reese Witherspoon. It took me several viewings of "The Prom" to get the creepy roller coaster scene from Fear out of my head. : erm : But I'm okay now.

Ditto! Though I love the movie Fear, I have to remind myself this is a Bangel type song during The Prom. I still automatically associate it with Fear.
 
I love the song. Isn't it a remake? I think I remember hearing it on the radio once by someone else and was all, "Hey! That's the Buffy song! But...not."
 
Are we talking about a cover of the song that was originally by the Rolling Stones from the Sticky Fingers album? I don't remember it being on BtVS, though my memory isn't what it used to be 🙂

Edit - Wiki's episode guide links the song to the one by the Stones, so it must be the same one 😉 One of my faves from their extensive repertoire btw

Yeah it's the same song. It gets covered quite a bit but the version on Buffy is definitely one of the better takes on it. The Stones version is also a classic.
 
This song is my favouritest song in the whole world. If I had to pick only one, of course. I don't even know why... I just LOVE this song. And yeah, I too got teary in The prom when Buffy got that award... Then Angel showing up, the song and the fact that they were dancing together while both knowing they can't be together... SO so sad!
