Will Buffy die? (No spoilers!)

This is just an opinion poll. Assuming that this season is the last one, do you think Buffy will die at the end?

I really don't know what's going to happen, and I want people's opinion, not spoilers. So if you KNOW, don't tell us, or at least use the Spoiler tag. If you don't know, tell us what you THINK. 😀
 
No, I don't even think it will end this season, but if Buffy dies (again) they could never bring her back! ... It would be very lame if she dies again! ... I think she'll thrown herself in some hell dimension, to fight demons there, maybe with Spike!?!?! And we still have the "Normal Again"-theory, but I'd like to save that for the end of the series!

I think you're right. Season five was the "Buffy dies" season. Been there, done that. I don't think that the "Normal Again" thing will end the series, though...too strange. The Jumping into the Hellmouth one is an interesting idea, but I hope that's not it, just cuz I don't wanna be spoiled.
 
I have know idea wether it is going to be the real deal it was just as an alternative to Buffy dieing, maybe she'll go away with Riley instead. Or anyway, I think she's going to fight evil some place different to Sunnydale!
 
I haven't forgotten about his wife, ... euhm what's her name again? ... Well I actually changed my opinion about him, when he came back in "Older and Far Away" he looked really cool and he stilled had some love for Buffy left. So maybe, just maybe he'll take her on the team, not nescesairily as couple!
 
Okay, there is no reason for my answer here, but I'm going with a simple No. And it's not because they've done it already and it would be stupid to keep killing her. I just think it is going to end with her still alive - still the slayer -, but I'm not so sure about everybody else's fate...🙁
 
Hmm the others, well if Sarah and Emma will allready leave, they can't leave too, or there'll be nobody left!
 
No decisions been made so far and I agree with diminshed_9th that the "Buffy dies" has been done twice and so is unlikely to happen again.

They have repeated themselves already a couple of times, so she'll live and just do something different. Why else would there be so much talk about slayers in training? Guess the writers are preparing for a possible end of the series and keeping the options open.

Since Joss and Sarah want to concentrate on feature movies, maybe there will be BtVS films in cinemas in the future and then Buffy can be back without having to cook up another spin-off that might not go down as well as Angel.
 
I agree with you guys...honestly do you think they'd kill her again? It lame and it has been way too overused...i think Joss has something amazing planned that we can't even begin to comprehend...i just can't wait!

I highly doubt Buffy will die. It's been done, and it would be so lame. I'm thinking the final episode will be something we will never guess, no matter how long we sit here and speculate about it, 'cause, you know, Joss is just brillant like that.

I don't think she'll die...but I think she will walk away from her responsibilities as the Slayer. Which new slayer will take her place..Faith or the one called when Buffy died in Season Five...I don't know. I am betting Faith though.
 
no one was called in season 5 when she died....bcuz she wasnt the actual slayer.......first she died...and kendra came....then kendra died....faith came...now faith is alive...and not going to die anytime soon. i hope she just doesnt walk away from her responsibilities...that would suck!
 
Yeah, but in "Grave', she told Giles that someone else would have been called, and he didn't argue. I don't quite understand this because I thought Joss had come out and said Faith has to die for another slayer to be called, but then he has Buffy say this, and Giles didn't refute it? Is this a whole in the writing, or is this going to be revisited?

Anyway, if anyone dies this season, I think Faith will, then a brand new slayer will be called.
 
It's in the scene in the training room when Giles and Buffy are talking.

BUFFY: (quietly) I guess ... I wasn't ready before. It took a long time for that feeling to go away ... the feeling that I wasn't really here. It was like ... when I clawed my way out of that grave, I left something behind. Part of me. I just... (pauses, looks Giles in the eye) I don't understand ... why I'm back.
GILES: You have a calling.
BUFFY: But it was my time, Giles. Someone would have taken my place. (Giles grimacing) So why?

Giles looks away, pensive, not answering.

BUFFY: Right. (sighs) What's gonna happen to Willow?
 
i really hope faith doesnt die i love her character as does many other people....if anything i just hope that buffy some how relinquishes her duties to another....i hate the whole killing off characters i like that they are doing lately...
 
Yeah, killing of the cool characters is a bummers, but I have a feeling that it isn't done yet. I don't know who else is going to die, but if this is the last season, I expect more.
 
Doesn't really matter, a fact is, that Joss and his Crew know more about the actual Buffyverse, than the characters, Buffy may not be right and Giles might not know it, because it hasn't occured before!
