Will Gunn be turning bad? (may contain spoilers)

I've read some rumours on Gunn's new heel role (bad guy role). It appears that he may become the new power leader of Wolfram and Hart.
This would be an interesting direction for the character, as he was considered the least likely to join Wolfram and Hart let alone become the leader.

Tell me what you guys have heard or think
 
It would definitely be interesting to develop Gunn in this way - given the way his character has evolved. We know he's capable of extreme violence (eg the 'neck break' of Fred's lecturer who sent her to Pylea - sorry I can't remember his name for some reason)....however we know he's also fiercly loyal to his friends and is willing to make sacrifices.

I definitely think you're on to something here Blade...

Why would W & H just hand over the reins of the firm to Angel? I think there's something planned for the gang.

Sorry if I post a lot of spoilers. I've been trying to refrain from reading huge spoilers recently.
 
Gunn is kinda like Xander was on Buffy, so I don't think they'll kill him off!
 
Why do thay have to change Gunn??? Damn. messing with the settings? good idea. killing off people and bring on new? bad idea. Changing personalities of characters on the show? very bad idea. I;m in a bad mood right now so this shouldn't sounds so bad.

I just think that it's the only way to freshen the show up a little..having a key character do a complete 180. I'm a sucka for that ::dk::

It's like what happened to Angel in season 2 of Buffy...the ratings went sky high when Angelus emerged 😎

And what you've said Ripper totally makes sense. Gunn is usually the guy who is going to make the make or break for the gang...we all know that he's more than just the muscle. That has been evident in few episodes where he has been able to solve stuff Angel or even Wesley haven't been able to solve (see Rain of Fire S4)
 
hmmm, yeah he was made into the lawyer guy for the premeire but i don't know, maybe they did something else to him and he went evil.

this is off-topic and probably dumb but where are the threads about the premeire?
 
I'm kinda torn on Gunn having the new skills. J. August Richards shined in the court room scenes, and I could see that being a lot of fun in the future. I'm just uncomfortable with the implications of it all. It's kinda like saying that Gunn wasn't useful enough beforehand, when he's proven to be more than just muscle numerous times. it is interesting though that I've always seen Gunn as very Xanderish, and now he's gotten mystically implanted job skills too.

I don't think they will make Gunn evil. They can't make the whole cast evil. Will they can, but yeah. That is wrong! He is my favorite character on Angel.

(It is weird that I like the out of place characters. aka... Xander and Gunn)
