Do you think SMG will make it in Hollywood? I don't want you just to say yes because you love Buffy. I'm not sure she will. SMG's main problem is being typecast as Buffy. She proberly never be able to drop the Buffy tag. Also starting her movie career with two Scooby-Doo films is not the best thing to do. Sure they are ok films, but you won't get huge parts in Hollywood because you were a bimbo in Scooby-Doo. SMG is now moving onto the horror genre with The Grudge. Now this can either be a huge hit like The Ring, or flop and really screw up her career. After that she is staring in Romantic Comedy which is written by two newcomers and directed by a man who has produced a few MTV awards. If SMG wants to really be big then one of the films in the early stage of her career have to be good. If she messes up with all these films then her career will take a HUGE knock and she may be forced to a life of Scooby-Doo sequels! She might also want to drop the diva act which she apparantly had on Buffy.

Im not sure that she could make it to hollywood i mean i know that everytime i see her i first i think oh its Buffy and then i think that its SMG.

I think SMG is great as Buffy and i think she is a great actress but I'm not sure about the Hollywood thing. She does need to pull out a good film to be A list. Saying that she was fantastic in Cruel Intentions and I have to say that when I saw her in that I didn't sit there thinking "Oh thats Buffy" I saw Catherine the character she was playing.
I think she can pull it off with good film choices that are less about fighting and being the bimbo which back up the typecasting.

I think she will make it in Hollywood since she is already more then half there, she just needs to start looking for different roles

Yes scooby doo in my opinion was a bit like buffy in the ass-kicking character she had towards the end. but i do have to agree that Cruel Intentions was a great film and she played that part well. Maybe it's because she had dark hair? I think that distances me a little from her buffy character.
I don't know...but I feel like she's already kinda made it in Hollywood? I mean she's made a name for herself. I think she's done some really great work in films already.
