Since the WB has cancelled the show (frown), I was just wondering of anyone has heard any news about the series finale being a 2 hr event. I looked in the spoiler section and it looks like spoliers are only up to about the 19th or 20th episode so far. I hope that Joss is thinking about a 2 hr finale, but if he decides on the movie then I guess all loose ends will be in the movie event. Anyhoo, back to the original question, any news about the series finale being a 2 hr event? Thanks!!

I'm guessing it'll be a one hour episode. As episode 21 and 22 are going to be written by different people.

I would love a 2 hour finale to the Buffyverse, but I really don't see that slimy snake, Jordan Levin giving up an extra hour of air-time to a show he sabotaged.

It would be awesome if they did that, but of course The WB probably wouldn't allow it because this would make them have to move Smallville around. So I'm thinking it's not likely.

Although, if you recall, the season six finale of Buffy was a two hour event and Two To Go was written by one person and Grave was written by another (can't remember the writers).

It probably won't be.

Even though it would be nice, considering we didn't even get one for Buffy. We need it.

But, I don't see the WB rearranging time for Angel (moving Smallville or not airing an episode) I do not see them accomodating Angel
(hence the cancellation)

The series finale isn't supposed to be much different if it was a season finale. So, unless Joss intended a 2-hr. season finale, we're not gonna get a 2-hr. series finale.
Btw, Little William, Two to Go was written by Douglas Petrie, while Grave was written by David Fury.

True, but I think that was done because Roswell only had 18 eps so they just added Grave for that night instead of waiting another week to show the season finale because they didn't have something to air after Two to go. I'm glad that it was done like that though.

I haven't heard anything about a 2 hour series finale...but It would wicked if they did, Hmm 2 hours of Angel and Spike, doubt they will do it though!!!

Well from the looks of the spoiler section, I think that it will only be an hour finale. Oh well, there goes all my wishing down the drain. ::dead::
