A lot of people seem to think that Willow's power can do anything. Some people say, "Hey, why even have slayers if Willow can just go poof?". Well it doesn't exactly work like that.

While Willow may be amazingly powerful, she does not have the power inside her to destroy the world or accomplish some great task. For the most part she draws on power from outside sources. Even when she was all super-powered at the end of Season Six, she could not simply wave her hand and bring Tara back. She was counting Osiris's power. And even later after she had absorbed all the knowledge from the books, stole the borrowed magicks from Giles and was so "eternally connected" to this great power in Season 7, she still could not say POOF and do something like that. She even had to borrow some of Buffy's strength to heal herself.

Some of the smaller tasks she could accomplish by herself, but she alone can not destroy the world. Think about this:

We know that there are other witches/sorcerers/demons out there who are as powerful or maybe even more powerful than Willow and none of them can simply destroy the world by themselves. Because if some evil person were powerful enough to do this, then wouldn't it have been done already? They could easily accomplish world destruction before the good guys even knew what was going on and had time to strategize and prepare to stop this.

I respect Willow's power and by no means am I bashing it, I'm just saying that while she may be extremely powerful, I don't think that one single person can retain that level of power. Well at least from what we have seen.

Maybe when she draws this power it gathers inside her, might explain why she was a lot more powerful in S7. So thinking about it, she should be much more powerful now because of all the power she used in the sythe.

One of the Wiccan principles of magic (if I remember) is in fact to draw upon natural energies so its kinda real, if you get what I mean.

(Too tired to post in throught)

I agree to the point where I dont think she can be given credit for wielding so much power.. When she uses great forces of Magicks, it is usually borrowed power, ie. she channelled the scythes power in order to super charge all the slayers. BUT having studied the Wiccan ways myself, I can appreciate that it takes a greater than normal power to channel such an energy, let alone more than once... Shes seen as "most-powerful" not for her own magicks, but the ability to channel such..
