How many people out there think Willow and Kennedy have any chance for a lasting relationship?

Personaly, I seriously doubt that they could make anything last very long after Sunnydale because Willow will always compare Kennedy with Tara and Kennedy will always come up short.

See, I don't think they have what it takes to have a lasting relationship, but it has nothing to do with Tara.

These two women are drawn to each other because of a physical attraction and kept together by circumstances(not in a bad way).
Post Sunnydale, Willow should be exposed to a WHOLE new world of possibilities that Kennedy has already experienced(i'm not sure the Sunnydale Gay Scene was that big) that will put a stress on the relationship.

I think the more the two grow up, the more they will apart because of the huge differences.

I think that, should it be continued appropriately, Kennedy should introduce Willow to the greater world of GayCulture and then take a step back and let Willow experience it for herself.

Im very much a willow Tara forever kinda girl, they had something special that Kennedy can't touch but i think Kennedy will be good for Willow and show her what life is about and plus Iyari is like my favourite woman so i have to like her:biggrin:

First off... I HATE THE WILLOW AND KENNEDY RELATIONSHIP!! ok lol now that that is said... Kennedy is just way to snobby, Bossy and way to like "look at me" for Willow.. I loved the Willow/Oz relationship best even though i did like Willow and Tara alot too.. But Kennedy is just too annoying and immature for the relationship to last Slayer or no slayer

Really, I don't think the fans liked Kennedy, so that pretty much meant the end for her eventually, haha. I don't think she really was -made- for Willow, so to speak. I loved Tara, she was so smart and sweet and soft spoken. She was kind of like Willow, in the first season of Buffy. They clicked, they worked. Kennedy just seemed like a quick rebound realtionship- you know, the kind of highschool couple where they are together for like a week, have nothing in common and no one even notices that they've broken up because everyone tried to ignore they were together in the first place because it was so weird and random and awkward. That's how I see Willow and Kennedy together, haha.

I didn't mind it in the begining.. however it did seem a bit soon. Then Kennedy got all bratty in so many scenes because she wanted to be in charge, I don't know how Willow could live with that for long 😛

I'm indifferent to the Willow/Kennedy relationship. It never bothered me, but I was never a big fan of the relationship, either.

I was never a big fan of Willow's rather "irregular" relationships but I liked Oz sooooooooo much

Clearly she must mean those times she was secretly dating Clem. Doesn't get much more "irregular" than that. 😉

At least, I would hope that was what was meant.

Haha oh yes, Clillow.
The perfect match.

I can see this "Irregular" discussion turning into some hating/mad match...

I really don't think Willow and Kennedy have ANYTHING in common aside from them enjoying to kick a little demon ass from time to time. I never enjoyed their relationship as it didn't have the spark of her and Tara or even her and Oz. Plus I thought Kennedy was too much of a brat and she didn't fit well with Willow. And plus I never liked how it seemed to quick for them to get together. I mean yeah they had episode 13. The Killer In Me, basically having Willow feeling guilty about her liking Kennedy so soon after Tara died, but still. To me it felt like Joss was trying to make up for killing Tara by giving Willow somebody else. At least when Buffy and Riley got together Buffy wasn't dealing with the murder of her boyfriend or anything like that. I mean it's one thing for Willow and Kennedy to have gotten together if Tara and her had never got back together, but it's another thing when Tara was actually murdered and then she's jumping right back on the horse dating somebody else without any signs of grief. I mean aside from Conversations With Dead People we never really saw Willow grief for Tara in Season Seven. Also nobody else really grieved for Tara's death which I thought was kind of cruel. I mean yeah I dont' think they should have spent the whole season grieving cause the show has always been about moving on, but at least a mention or something. I never heard any of the Scobbies mention Tara in passing. Like a "I miss her," or "Things aren't the same without her," or something to that effect.

I didn't like Kennedy for Willow one bit! In fact she was the only relationship with Willow that I didn't like. I liked Willow with Oz and when she went to Tara. But Kennedy was. Blech!!!!

Yeah I think Tara and Willow was the best relationship ever seen on the show. I really missed her presence on the show. Willow and Kennedy did upset me a lot, but I got over it. But with Season Eight coming out I'll get back under it again

Wonder what it's like if they aren't together in Season 8... I'm not sure what a developing romantic relationship would be like in a comic book.

<- comic newbie

Joss would have to have some pretty fantabulos scenes for me to enjoy Willow/Kennedy interaction.
And back in the days of season4, and Angel season1 I did dislike Riley/Buffy relationship with a passion mostly because they had their first date right after 'I Will Remember You', which to me was a slap in the face.

i hated kennedy. She was so annoying! I loved Willow and Tara...but i also thought Willow and Oz were cute. Kennedy was just all wrong for Willow.

In some ways, Kennedy struck me as a Pre-Angel/Pre-Champion version of Cordelia, the selfish, me me me, girl. Her attitude, given her age, was understandable, but she struck me as really immature. I mean, aside from great sex (apparently), what else could she offer Willow?

She would serve a useful purpose, to get Willow to the point where she's able to move on past Tara, but ultimately Kennedy's role should be mostly as a transitional item. Like a blanket, or a teddy bear.

I don't see Willow going all Darth Rosenburg if Kennedy gets whacked.

Well personally I hope their relationship won't last....

I just think that Kennedy is not suited for Willow. I'm not sure if I think this though because I dislike Kennedy or because I miss Willow/Tara =/

i didn't like Kennedy at all but i don't wish to condem Willow to a life of mourning for Tara either! Tara's dead and kennedy at least allowed Willow to move on. I hope she's not with Tara in the comic but nor do i want her to be continually comparing every girl she fancies to tara. that would be very boring.
