When Willow and Buffy are together in the the third comic Buffy asked
"How you been? Hows Kennedy? Are you still--"

Willow says that Kennedy died and after seeing a shocked buffy she explains that is was a mystical thing and only lasted a month.

Does that mean since it was mystical, that willow brought her back from the dead?
 
Yes that's exactly what she said because if you read further it says because of that Kennedy and Willow decided that they needed to take a break. So Kennedy is in fact alive and well and her and Willow are no longer together. Thank God cause I HATED their relationship
 
They didn't break up. Here's the quote:

Buffy: "Well, how you been? How's Kennedy? Are you still --"
Willow: "She died."
Buffy: "Willow..."
Willow: "Oh no! She's fine! Mystical thing, only lasted a month. We're just taking it slow for a while. She's sort of in her own place, but it's cool. I always tell that wrong."

From this, I conclude that they are in fact still together.

i love that scene willows and buffys face is so funny even in comic form :biggrin:
 
Interesting, it didn't occur to me that Kennedy had a mystical death and Willow brought her back.. I wonder if that's what happened. I need more info!
 
It says in comic 3 of the long way home. Her and Buffy are catching up.

I was wondering if she had brought her back from the dead, because i would have thought that Willow wouldnt be bringing people back from the dead, after she learned of Buffy being in heaven even if it was mystical.
 
I guess that by mystical dead, she means that Kennedy didn't really so much die literally, but more like on paper, she became undead or a ghost or something like it by accident, so that technically she was dead, even though she never went through the process of actually dying.
 
I think they did this to satisfy the Willow fans who hate Kennedy, including me. Is there a Kennedy fan out there?
 
There's a cute little interchange on a YouTube video of Joss at the San Diego Comic Convention where he mentions Kennedy, and everybody boos. Joss retorts "Gee, that's the first time I've ever been booed at one of these things".
