Willow and Oz shippers!

Both ships are wonderful and brought a lot to Willow. I love Woz and Tillow equally. At the end of New Moon Rising, I felt as torn as Willow. You just have the feeling that the connection she has with both is unbreakable, that she fits with both.

Totally agree! But I'm so glad she picked Tara though, she was a better match for Willow by then. But it was hard to see her leave Oz. There was time when he really was perfect for her, it's hard to let that kind of stuff go even if it isn't there anymore.

I think it's great that so many Tillow shippers see the wonderfulness that was Woz as well. OMG... I had to re-read that for it to make sense, LOL. ("Woz as well"... heh)

Interesting how so many people see Woz for what it was in the time that it was - Willow, in her first real relationship, and how he helped bring her out of her shell, yet accepted her for her complete Willowness. And then Willow with Tara - they were clearly right for each other during their time together.

SIDE NOTE: I wonder why Bangle shippers & Spuffy shippers can't see the same thing with Buffy? Hmmmm....

That is a very good question. I appreciate bangel especially during the early years I can't deny that during my re-watches. Maybe the Bangels and Spuffies are just so passionate. Woz might have gotten a little of Oz in them laid back outlook 😛

You're saying that others aren't as passionated? I think it's more of a security thing, at least if you compare Tillow shippers with Bangels and Spuffies. Not like I can talk for everyone but I think Tillow shippers in general are so confident in their relationship we're not worrying. It might help that Tara is dead and Angel and Spike are both alive. No matter if you want Buffy to end up with Angel or Spike you feel the need to defend them and give reasons to why they're the right choice. We don't have to so we might seem less passionate. it's not like that. We just prefer love before fighting. But attack Tillow and you might see a difference.

I just think that even if Bangels and Spuffies are confident that their ship is the natural/best one they aren't 100% sure it'll end the way they think it should. But that's just my guess and not a fact. I'm guessing I'll have people disagreeing with me.

I agree with that about them both being alive and having to defend. I did not mean that Woz and Tillow shippers weren't passionate or less passionate I meant maybe they are more laid back about it. Also I noticed that some of them see that both ships have so much to offer, they look at it as Willow would be good with either or they were good for her at different times. Don't know if this is making sense. I did not mean they weren't passionate like they don't have fire and will fight for their ships.
Also I agree with the aren't sure 100% part. I feel that Spuffy is the way to be but that doesn't mean I think they will end up together, I want them to but it just may not happen.

Mm, its weird that Tillow fans are coming into a Woz thread and talking about the amazingness of Tillow. I don't think the opposite happens. I am a fan of both, but if I'm in a thread for Woz, Woz is what I'm going to mainly talk about.

I think this thread should have a special title. "Woz: She may always find Tara but she'll always be waiting for Oz".

I need to watch Season 3 and the beginning of 4....

I liked both relationships, but the way that Woz ended was heartbreaking and the way Tillow was devastating...Tara's horrible death and Willows reaction made me feel for Tillow more. But Woz was awesome, I really liked the laid-back dynamic he brought into the group.

I love Woz. I prefer it to Tillow. Probably because, as a character, I like Oz better than Tara. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Tara, but I've just never really developed an attachment to her character.

I am a Tillow shipper myself, but I love Woz and Oz is one of my favorite characters.
I was so upset when he left in the 4th season, I was like "oh no! who are they gonna pair Willow up with now?!"

They were great when Willow was still young, but I don't see them together in the later seasons. I mean if Willow is crazy enough to fall for Kennedy she probably wouldn't appreciate the awesomeness that is Oz anymore.

Woz isn't in my top ships on the show now, but if I'm really honest, when I first watched when I was 13-14... I liked them the most. I thought they were really sweet together, and I particularily liked how funny some of their exchanges were! Like when Oz tells Willow he wanna ask her to go out with him, but he's nervous, and she says 'Oh. Well, if it helps at all, I'm gonna say yes. ', and then he asks her and she goes 'Oh, I can't! ', making him go 'Well, see, I like that you're unpredictable.'

Willow/Oz is the single most adorable thing in the Buffyverse. I start doing that "shrivel up from the cute overload" thing almost every time they're onscreen together, and their dialogue makes me so happy.
